Description
It was just bound to become an 'odd-couple'-type of relationship when bookstore employee Serizawa bumps into the Goliath (but apparently very meek and timid one), Keito. Falling in love was easy, but how will Keito overcome his meekness to show Serizawa his true feelings? On the other hand, how will Serizawa vanquish his own insecurities about relationships and accept Keito's affections for him? A lot of things can happen under the cafe latte-colored sky...

I can't even. Just. Too. Damn. Cute! <3
This is honestly the one pick-me-up manga I can always count on among the 500+ yaoi titles I currently own. Whenever I'm feeling down - whenever I'm worried - I pick this up and whoosh! All the pain goes away! It's like those magic kisses my Momma gave me when I was little...
The characters are so sweet and their love so pure that I feel like I'm being wrapped in layer after layer of exquisitely soft candy-floss, and I don't mind. The thing is, the romance is STILL realistic despite its extraordinary sweetness - people do fall in love like that, as simply and beautifully as that, no questions asked. And people with painful pasts do, indeed, occasionally find that one person that makes it all worthwhile. This is just so beautiful on so many levels. Soul-healing stuff that'll become a staple dietary requirement whenever you're feeling down and your emotional 'sugar levels' need picking up. Don't miss it.

I like Toko Kawai's work, but not this one

I know I'm in the minority here, but I just didn't like this title. *ducks the rotten tomatoes*
Toko Kawai describes the main couple in her afterword as "a girly-guy couple...almost like a yuri couple". Both characters were supposed to be grown men but neither character was in any way believable as such. There was altogether too much blushing, crying and too many childlike expressions for me to take either one seriously. I felt like I was reading about a couple of elementary school kids.
She also wrote that her goal was to create a cute, lovey-dovey romance. Well, she succeeded, but I think it went too far. It went beyond cute into saccarine territory and that's just the sort of BL I don't like. One of the characters muses that he felt like he "was in a shoujo manga" and it was that element that didn't work for me. It felt like I was reading light, fluffy no substance shoujo, with two crying, blushing heroines and too much sparkle. *ducks tomatoes again*

AWWWWWW!
That is pretty much one of the only things I say as I read along. I just bought my own licensed copy and I love it to bits. June did a superb job despite its flaws in a few previous titles.
But I digress.
This manga is all kinds of adorable and sweetness that I think I'm getting cavities in my brain instead of my teeth. XD Keito is a such a painfully shy and timid gentle giant* with a face of a thug* while Hajime has a cheerful exterior but can't be honest with himself. How one judges a book by its cover. And Hajime works in a bookstore! XD
Normally, I prefer my manga for 18+ readers, but this is my exception because I was struck by the warm fuzzies, touched by the heartwarming bits, and heartbroken by the tearjerker moments. I highly recommend this manga to anyone who loves the WAFF.

This manga surprised me so much. I like Kawai-sensei a lot, but with a hit or miss trend. This one seriously blew away all expectations I had of not only Kawai's work, but of yaoi in general. I find myself much more sensitive to cliches than I was when I was really into yaoi, but I still have a huge soft spot for really sweet stories. This is painfully adorable and sweet, but also has characters and a relationship that venture way out from stereotypical roles in yaoi stories.
I honestly wish I could give this an 11, it's THAT good!!

"Super super cute and sweet" that about sums it up. It was a lovely read. Hajime and Keito are one of the cutest couples you will come accross in manga. The art was lovely and very light. It was great romantic read. As Otakubaybay said, you will read it over and over again. Any Romance fan will enjoy it.

Yes, this is ridiculously cute, but it's not a superficial type of cute at all (you'll get my meaning once you read it). The difference between other yaoi with "cute" couples and this one is that while things often seem cliche and glossed over in others, here, their relationship, though corny, comes off as sincere and sometimes heart-wrenching. It really got me thinking about pure, untainted personalities. I think it's a good psychological read, believe it or not. And the perfect length!*
I think it's important to not approach this manga with a judgmental attitude. Enjoy!
*Edit: not the only aspect of this manga that's the perfect length *coughcough*
sry...had to do it

..but i had to this time because of some undefinable quality this manga had. The art was beautiful, as usual, the characters were adorable, the story was, yes, very short, but very very sweet (without being sickening).
Also, these two win the title of the sweetest, dumbest couple in the history of yaoi.

A very sweet story (be warned- it oozes sugary cute but I have a soft spot for tht so I really enjoyed it! xDD) Some parts were surprising which is great because I admit to feeling rather sensitive towards manga cliches lately *groans*, so those surprising parts were refreshing ^_^

The story is simply sweet and very cute. The fact that the two characters have very uke-ish personalities make this story more adorable. Personally, I found it difficult identifying the uke from the beginning of the story but I think Kawai-san made it clear in a certain part who is and who's the 'real' seme. =3
