That is the first thing that will jump from your phone when you read this series... amazing, beautiful art. There is a lot of subtleties in this comic, and the author conveys it amazingly well with their art....
The plot is well written, it is not exactly solid per se... but the core of this story is not in how compelling and complex the plot is. The motif and theme of this comic is sacrifice, and with it come a whole lot of intertwining emotions, this comic takes a fantastical real life myth, to encapsulate this condensed distilled extract of pure passion.
The only negative I can say about this comic is its sometime vague and hard to understand dialog and narrative, although in hindsight, I suspect this is more about the translation than about the comic itself.
All in all, it was a very rewarding read, and I would recommend this to about anybody.... and also, within 2 weeks of installing Line Webtoon, after reading this comic to it's beatiful end.... I have to finally admit... after years of resisting and sticking to manga only... I am now very much caught by the tide of Halyu.

It's such a short read, but gives me plenty of feelings

I just randomly looked for webtoons to download offline when I stumbled upon "For the Sake of Sita".
From the cover, what got me interested is the outfit, as I always love historical stuffs. I thought it would tell about thw Korean culture, but no, when I read the word "Nepal", it surprised me to know that the plot and setting would reside in Nepal!
There are only 14 chapters including the Prologue and Epilogue, that some might wonder what could be told in such short chapters. Well, as for me, I received a lot. The message, the feelings, and the characters themselves, I really love them! I can't really say it's tragedy, but the story does have the heart-breaking, yet heart-warming feels.
The only part that might make readers a bit confused is when the timeline between past and future get switched on and off during latest chapters, but I guess that the author/manhwa-ka just wants to leave the interpretation of which is the "dream", "flashback", and " reality" ambiguous. Even if I'm wrong, I personally still feel this way
Of course, the art style is very beautifuuuulllll and the coloring is so..... so..... *A*
I am very interested in Nepali culture now XD

A beautiful and very touching story, although personally, I think the author should have done a little more research on Nepali culture (not that they haven't done any) since there were some inaccurate portrayals of the Kumari, which might offend certain people, or be taken granted for by people who aren't as well informed on the subject.
Nevertheless, the story is very nicely done, particularly the interactions and the relationships that develop between the characters. And did I mention the art is just gorgeous? Would recommend this to anyone who likes romance and learning about other cultures - just be aware that this is just the artists/authors portrayal of the Kumari and it shouldn't be taken as exactly what it is IRL.
