I liked the main couple who were riddled with insecurities falling for each other and dealing with stuff day by day. The only thing I didn't like was the male lead's "best" friend.

As the best friend is actively trying to steal the main girl from the main guy, he keeps hoping that the main guy will forgive him for something that happened when they were younger. He was honestly the worst friend. It also didn't help that the main girl's popular twin sister tried to steal the main guy from her sister and then gets mad at her when it doesn't work. Needless to say that the closest people to the main couple are awful people.
Your typical cliche, popular-guy-with-a-sob-story scenario. the connection the male MC has with the female MC feels quite forced, and the male MC isn't realistically portrayed at all. even with the type of background story the mangaka attempts to develop, the male MC still feels quite one-dimensional. thus his interactions, development and fixation on the female MC doesn't feel natural
