Plot? No

A lazy read interesting topic but the journal like feel to it is wandering and meandering. If you want plot, don't expect any. Growth? Maybe slightly.

I rated a 7/10 since it is okay and kept me intrigued with the unique setting.

The dungeon master really is a lazy good for nothing and so far he is also pretty unlikeable, but he does do some pretty clever stuff to help out the dungeon. He basically works harder so he can be even lazier.

If there are such things as dark gods in this setting Im certain he will obtain the ruler of sloth title. But the character interaction is nice and I can honestly say I enjoy reading this.

Pretty good, clever MC, but there's some minor issues

The main character in this is a pretty clever guy and much of the story thus-far (about 40 chaps) is about him using wit and schemes to overcome his opponents. It makes for an interesting read, but I have some gripes with the work.

First of all, the MC is supposedly only interested in sleeping, but he's extremely proactive, doing all kinds of things to prepare for the future. It's cool to read about and all, but it doesn't really fit the character IMO.

Secondly, everyone other than the MC, and even the MC himself to a lesser degree, is not very well developed. It seems like they're just there as a prop, even despite several of these characters having a chapter or two written from their perspective, they don't seem very fleshed out. It feels like they're just there because the plot needs a person with qualities X, Y, and Z; the plot drives the characters, rather than the characters driving the plot. I'm optimistic that they'll become more developed as it goes on, as it's only 40 chapters in, they're fairly short, and almost all of them are focused on things that are happening rather than fleshing people out.

Despite these concerns, I think this work is entertaining and has potential, if you're interested in the description I suggest you give it a read. A very strong point of this novel is that things are always happening, which is a bit refreshing imo. I feel I should mention that one villain acquires a very young sex slave that he...uses...but it is not described in any detail, you just aware that he acquired her and did stuff. That kind of thing isn't a major element of this novel, but if you have absolutely zero tolerance for that kind of thing happening in books you read, this might not be for you.
