I was surprised to find out the seasons were separate instead of a continuation of the first season and involved characters that were hinted in the previous seasons. I was all amped for season 2, but I got sidelined! I was so shocked I kept reading hoping I would see them again, but nope that was the last of the first couple that I was already getting really attached to.
The first season was really fluffy and sweet, but the following two seasons got progressively longer, serious, and angsty. The first season was a classic school setting with popular female lead and cold male lead, second was in a broadway/club setting with cold female lead, and third was in the idol business. Out of the three seasons, the first and third were my favorites. But the second also held its own. I also really liked how the author portrayed the idol industry. It was pretty accurate and realistically tackled a lot of the issues that idols have to face. My biggest gripe about the comic is how it portrays persistence as being the key to love.
Despite my gripes, I still liked the comic overall. I like what I like. But warning for those who ain't into that.

I'm writing this after reading the last season, and my sentiment still stands. I really want to go back to the first story. It was the only one that didn’t have a concrete ending. It was hella cute, fluffy, and sadly--the shortest. I can see what the author is trying to imply by ending it the way she did, but I would still like to see more of them.

It was a constant in all 3 seasons. The biggest offender was how unrealistic the main guy's love for mc was in the last season. It had been two years. She hurt him so bad, but he was still head over heels. Still cute overall and I'm a sucker for hopeless romantics but that was the definition of his character--hopeless romantic. I feel his character only had one major development from playboy afraid of commitment to “I would die for you” levels of commitment.
Despite my gripes, I still liked the comic overall. I like what I like. But warning for those who ain't into that.
