There are only a few things wrong with Naruto:
1. Sasuke
2. Sasuke
3. WHY THE HELL IS THE TITLE CALLED "NARUTO" WHEN IT SHOULD BE "SASUKE (STARRING NARUTO)"!!!
4. They don't act like ninjas
5. When I see an obnoxious brat running around in an orange jumpsuit, I don't think of ninjas. I think of somebody who broke out of jail!
6. Wow. How ninja. Running around in flashy, colorful outfits casting magic spells
7. Narutards are watching you

9. It drags and drags and drags....
10. They talk too damn much

i think that it's fair to say that atm naruto is one of, if not the most, successful shounen manga around. therefore, imo, despite some of the flaws it may seem to have - or the possibility that it's been overly and unnecessarily 'dragged out'...it needs to be recognised as a great shounen series.
it is filled to the brim with action, suspense and cliffhangers. it creates a vast and immersive world within its pages and i would heavily recommend it to anyone who likes shounen and hasn't read it yet.
i would also like to point out that imo it is absurd to feel the need to honestly give this series a rating of 1/10 due to its success and the effort which has gone into it - don't be discouraged from reading it and decide for yourself

The Naruto Manga is still an enjoyable series in my opinion, despite it's many flaws.

This started out as what has to be one of the best I've ever read, but as you get further into the plot you begin to wonder what the heck happened to the charm and intrigue we once saw.

It's been dragged out and destroyed by it's own sheer popularity.

Naruto, as it is now, is by no means terrible, but still nowhere near what it previously was.

If you're looking for a MANGA that's :: Action, Adventurous, Dramatic, Supernatural, and that one feeling that makes you say "DAMN! ONE more CHAPTER!" ....Then NARUTO is the one! Ehehehe...Naruto is mainly about Naruto ( of course ), and yet it tells you the past about the other ( main) characters. Most of the time, this MANGA usually reveals sadness and sorrow....Which can give you the fuzzy ( tense? ) feeling...But still! This manga ROCKs! Muahahahah!! My opinion -->READ IT<--Yep, yep....Just hoping you'll ENJOY it!

Naruto has indeed become a social phenomenon, we can see narutards wearing headbands on their heads (and many other parts of their bodies) everywhere, but, is it any good??, the manga started being a very promising idea, it didn't took quite long for it to be crushed by it's own popularity, the protagonism of the series was always unclear and right now, in the latest chapters, many of us belive the series should be renamed as "Sasuke", but that is just one of the few problems the series has, the excessive number of characters make their development almost impossible and leave behind many great characters (rock lee as an example), also i have been spotting some similarities between this and harry potter:
1. The orphan boy who was raised not knowing who his parents were
2. The snake like eternal-life-seeker Villian
3. The dead godfather
4. The old wise man who spared it's student's life only to let him become a powerful villian
5. the child of the prophecy
6. The founder of the place where the characters live ran away after a dispute with the other founder.

BUt as i wish to belive, these are just mere coincidences, anyways, the manga has suffered some degradation to the point where it is nothing more but the typical shounen formula hidden inside the corpses of what we used to call great characters, places and plot.

Naruto started out out as a great manga, but now it's gone downhill. Extrememly. First of all, the main character is ridiculously annoying. Second, the plot commited suicide. And 3rd, if one more person dies and comes back to life I think I'll shoot myself. The only character I liked died permanently. T__T This manga has potential to be amazing, but now it's just a disaster. Reading this manga was a waste of my life. Naruto is horridly overrated and beyond help. If you want a good manga with a plot, and that doesn't go on forever try somthing like Death Note. If you want an overrated, plotless, and predictable manga, then Naruto is for you.

Naruto is the first manga/anime that I've ever been introduced to, and it totally changed my perception of the twin mediums. What I like best about Naruto is the transfer of values through battle, in Naruto's struggle to make people acknowledge his existence and capabilities as a ninja.

But, since the Shippuuden started, I've stopped watching Naruto, because the plot is going nowhere and the characters are actually overlapping! Naruto has already lost its focus, and I've a feeling that the mangaka is milking the series' popularity for all its worth before the hype dies down. But the longer it drags on, the worse the plot gets (in my opinion). So hopefully he'll tie it up soon!

This definetly doesnt deserve below a 5, otherwise, it's just bashing because it's cool to bash on what's popular. The only reason I'm not giving it a 10/10 is because Naruto is blinded by his view of "friendship" and it does get repetitive despite what people say. But its one of the few series I am always watching out for.

I feel like I'm being generous with a 8/10.
I used to really love this series, but I'm starting to feel unsure about it... I just hope it doesn't get as long as some series, like "Detective Conan" or "Jojo's Bizarre Adventures".
I enjoy reading when it comes out but the whole story is feeling a bit stale. Please don't make the plot suffer Kishimoto!

It was at least much much (and very very much) better than pokemon.... something that I regret watching till date....

Anyways due to repetition and all that stuff, I'd drop some rating of Naruto... other wise, it stays at 7/10 for me. Which by my standards is too good ^_^
