Fantastic manga.

It seemed boring at first....but as it draws towards the end of the series the plot twists and gets more interesting.

Fantastic artist, hot drawn bishounen, and a dark aura that mature readers will be bound to enjoy this (if they stick to it!)

I hope Kaname and Yuki end up together, I love this series, I have a thing for Vampire books and series now. But this one is really interesting and at times, confusing...

This manga just ack. All those over-big eyes and hypocrisy chick make me sick. The plot is, say what, extremely nonsensical and childish (wonder why soo many people find it interesting XD)

There was so much hype about this manga I was really disappointed. I couldn't get into this series at all. Its definitely a character driven manga, but with no characterization. The three main characters are incredibly flat and one dimensional (and main characters should NEVER be flat) so unless you already think mysterious and emo vampires are teh awesome, there is little to like about them. So, after 4 volumes I realized it likely wasn't going to get any better and dropped it.

I have to say I L♥VE this manga so very much. I first started reading it through shoujo beat... but got very impatient waiting for the next chappie so I decided to read online. L♥VE it!

I don't find it confusing at all. I love the characters and the setting. The plot line is so cute, and I thought since it's romance it would be predictable. But I was wrong. This manga keeps on bring up situation after situation that continue to surprise me. L♥VE reading it! Can't wait until the next chapter.

Btw, the anime is really well done too! L♥VE THAT TOO!!!

I've started reading it since the first chapter came out...
For some reason, I've grown to dislike it...
Somewhat interesting, but has stupid points...
I think I'm gonna drop this one or something, because every time I try reading it, I just stop. And... Yeah..

And, as much as I love vampire manga, and even though this one has comedy/romance (no horror though.. nothing's scary there-_-).
I feels like it's lacking something...

the surprises in every chapter never seize to shock you
the characters were drawn beautifully, very detailed artwork
its the manga of the decade, every1's talking bout it
matsuri hino's previous book meruperu had honestly the most happiest and satisfying ending I've ever read in any manga
the clothes (overcoats *sigh*), the bishies, the vampires, the guns, the blood, the drama, the comedy, the sarcasm, the thrilling blood curdling events, the romance..... what more can some1 ask for in a manga?

it does get confusing at times but its always cleared up in the chptr following it, the storyline is vry elaborated and twisted but if u concentrate properly it isn't all that hard to follow =P
the reason it became so popular is cuz it satisfied the majority of the ppl's desires.
Matsuri hino is one of my Fav mangaka and her books always kept me on the edge of my seat and eyes glued to the screen anticipating who's blood will be spilled next =D

I picked up this story once it was released by Chuang-Yi so I haven't been following it chapter-for-chapter.

In the beginning it was an interesting dark love story but was well balanced with comedy--I really enjoyed it. However, since about volume 5 the story has started to drift away. There are so many characters to keep track of they're all getting neglected. It would be better if the series finished and short oneshot stories were done about the other characters if it was necessary to the overall plot. I'm here hoping that Miss Hino can get back on track soon before it gets to be a chore to read.

Try it, as it's a great vampire manga, but if it's not looked after it will go downhill.

Well I really only continue reading this series anymore because I support the YuukiZero pairing with a passion. The plot is really a mystery to me. I've read it from the beginning and liked it before it got popular, and now when I read the chapters I'm like: "O_o What's going on with the pure bloods?" Yeah. Some stuff about pure bloods and councils and hunters. So I read it for the great love plot! XD And the artwork is amazing. So yup. Love plot = awesomeness. Other plot =Whaaa?
