Try reading it as a whole

I really like the first story, It's cute yet it explores other aspect of a relationship. I like that the couple can handle it well. My least favorite is the 3rd story about art student and his athlete boyfriend. Too... pointless? It works as eye-candy, though.

When viewed as oneshot, I have mixed feeling with the 2nd story. Normally threesome (plus a twincest! UGH!) is not on my list, but the whole story is not about sex. It's about licking each other wound and they do it to survive, no pretense. It's bittersweet, I like it. I suggest reading 2nd, 4th, and 5th chapter as one continuous story line. When you do, you can see how good the story is.

As for the art, it's great. Just as you'd expect from Duo Brand ^^

Before reading my reviews, take a note that my ratings are based on this: 1 being total crap, 5 being an average story (average doesn't mean overally cliched, just that it's worth reading. Overally cliched would be below my average), and 10 being mind-blowingly awesome. So, a 6/10 is not horrible. It just means that the story is mildly interesting (BUT STILL INTERESTING!!!!).

First, the art. I like the mangaka's style, but the proportions were a tad bit off. So I'll give it a 7/10.
I'm going to rate each story individually, and give the overall rating after.

LV STYLE (lawyer and prosecutor): It was cute. I like the uke's strong personality, and the seme is just too adorable. This story isn't one of those cliched, overly weak ukes and way too dominant semes. I like how the mangaka made all of her characters realistic, and not too overboard on the uke-seme roles. Also, all of the short stories in Netsujou Innocence didn't feel rushed or anything. I rate this story a 7/10.

NINE LIVES, SPIRAL TOWER, FEATHER RING (ch. 2, 4, 5): I loved it. This story has just the right amount of angst, romance, and I love the uniqueness about this one. But, what I didn't like about this story was the mangaka's twist in the plot. I really didn't expect that Rio would become lovers with the guy he ended up with (I'm not gonna tell who the guy is!). I thought it was just weird. Still, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't read this story. It's very moving, and I really like Taki, and his idea about the earrings(If I tell anymore, I'll spoil). I give this one a 7.9/10.

YUBISAKI NO KISEKI (ch 2): Eh, it was okay. Not that special, but worth a read. I like the couple's personality. Rating: 5.5/10.

Overall, my rating is: 6.85. I reccommend this manga, especially the second story.

The first story, the tale about the lawyers, was so-so, nothing negative to say, nothing really positive. It's a rather cute take on prosecutor/defense attorney romance, and the art is just stellar.

In my eyes though, the second story is the real gem of this collection. I don't want to spoil it, but the characters I found really interesting and developed, which is quite a challenge in that amount of space, to make you care. The theme here was hard to pin down exactly, friendship, brotherhood, death, love, forgiveness, because it has them all. Really worth a read though.

Third story has it's own page, so I reviewed it there

The last two are like a continuation of the second story, and really just as great. These focus more on Rio, but the twins and Taki do show up at the end. It's a nice conclusion.

Over all, one of my favourite BL manga.
