When I first read this, I gave up on it early on because I didn't much care for the art. But I went back, and past the first few chapters, I stopped caring. This was a great manga - I especially liked how neither of the main characters was really useless in fighting - especially Tsubasa. You'd think, given how she got her job, she'd be some useless girl that her boyfriend had to continually save; but no. No, she totally kicked ass. That was by far the best part of this manga for me.

i usually hate shoujo romance manga, but i LOVED this one. I imediatly liked the two main characters, and never quit liking them. there was no annoying little girl playing at love and no melodrama. Tsukasa is, by far, my favourite shoujo heroin to date!

You're probably going to compare this with skip beat no matter how hard you try not to (I tried my best not to but ended up doing it), but nevertheless, this has the same humorous elements as well as cutesy "is-it-love-now" moments that will make you feel great inside.
If you're one to appreciate stories that focus on emotional and psychological development in a character, this one's for you. Thumbs up!

Tokyo Crazy Paradise has one of the best plot. I like how the theme of getting revenge for her parents remains throughout the whole story; it doesn't die for 5 volumes and comes back. The characters are very well drawn. Tsukasa is very gorgeous with all of her wigs and apparently, her boobs were bigger than Asago. With Tsukasa, she doesn't have that fake positiveness; not everyone likes her for that and she proves her positiveness with action. I like the fact that she's very skilled with her uh...chain whip. It's very creative; an exotic fighting with a chain whip is like skilled dancing. To me.
I like how Ryuji was drawn; his presence and looks demands superior authority and attention. Yeah, he doesn't look 14 but this isn't the only manga with characters like that. I like the fact that he's such a pervert for such a "yakuza" guy; so it doesn't look like he's always tense. You start to get the feeling that Ryuji doesn't do a good job hiding his emotions; it's apparent the reason he kept Tsukasa by his side was because with her, he could express himself more easily. I mean, Tsukasa wasn't even destined to be his seisai (wife and protector of the Sandaime) and she starts proving herself without even knowing it!

I really kind of enjoyed this manga. It was average at best and very predictable. The gender bending was over played and the jokes repeated. I kept reading it just because I was hoping it would take a wicked turn but it never really happened. I liked the fighting and it had some interesting characters. However, the leads were very cliche and their interactions were painfully naive (at least on Tsukasa end). It had a good ending and covered all it's bases.

it's over.. ? i don't mean about the ending itself, it tends to leave you in a daze.. i mean, no more stories with tsukasa and ryuji.. it's really sad actually.. but seriously, once you start you can't stop. at times, honestly, i wanted to stop.. but i HAD to find out what happened at the end. it'll definitly make you have that feeling.
.. you know what else was sad??
it really does do all the things a good story should do. it makes you feel. i was even cursing and yelling at the screen. XD "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!?" haha good times. but the thing that bothered me.. !
don't let the length fool you, it'll draw you in and make you wish there was 3523523 more volumes. (okay, NOT really, but you get the point.) it's good! one of the best i've read. and i absolutely LOVED tsukasa. such strength. but she still had weaknesses. and it had PLOT!!! HOLY CRAP WHA?! it had plot! and the fighting was amazing. a shoujo where the girl actually got hurt, not got saved right before each and every time. (coincidence..? i think not!)
but yeah. i really loved the characters. .. even asago. yes. and it did have to do with.. -laughs-. and and akira! he was cute! poor thing, all stuck with his love. aaaand..
sorry for all the spoilers, but i didn't want to ruin anything~ so READ IT IF YOU HAVEN'T. okay? at least give it a try. it's worth at the least giving a try.

KAMO-SAAAAAAN -cry- .. i really did. like, almost titanic-movie-first-time-watching-crying. it was.. so sad. and to remember all the cute moments he missed and how he used to be there and his hilarious thoughts.. and how he basically got them together.. waaah. i also cried when shiva went.. it was weird? i was sad to see him go, HIM AND HIS LONG HAIR I WAS WITH THAT ONE GUY XD. but really.. even though he was happy, i wanted him with tsukasa. XDD it kinda.. yeah. i was just sad.

the thing with ryuji and asago!! that's why i couldn't like him as much. he totally kissed her (even IF he only wanted to give her happiness, he was hardcore hurting tsukasa.) and how he easily was seducing that girl to get information. it made me mad.. and how he almost died for asago! WHAAAAT! ugh. but whatever, all good in the end.

SHIVAAAAA!!!! so pretty.. (shut up, i know it wasn't him, but..) and the hickey scene was amazing~ why did it have to be interrupted? ;[ but yeah.. at the end i realized he was the uncle too.. "wait.. if he's his brother, and.. and.. w-wait a second!!!" hahaha. but still. -is sad- at least he didn't die. :]

I liked this manga. The only problem is that there are too many words in one page-like skip beat.
I like how the main girl doesnt act like a helpless little girl
