One thing I cannot stand about this manga is the art. Yeah, the butlers look alright, it it's the main character that's the problem.
Mei looks like a child and acts like one. It would be totally fine if the author drew her with a more matured body, but the art turns me off as it's as if the guys are lusting for a kid.
I don't get why the author gives the bad side characters good nice appropriate body but not Mei, so the whole story seemed like a bratty girl trying to woo her butler who does not seem to be interested at her for most times.
Everyone in this manga has shallow personalities, and there is so much drama going on!
Yes, I know the drama tag is there, but the drama made the story irrelevant and stupid. It gives off an unpleasant feeling whenever I read this manga, so I stopped, finally.
I have been reading the chinese scanlations, and the story will not be improving at all for the next chapters.
Please don't waste your precious time reading this, unless you like the drama with unpleasantness with the main character practically looking like a kid begging to be with her oh-so-sexy-butler.
I also hope that Rihito forgets about her and move on with his pathetic life.

I will just say... this series disgusts me. The main character, Mei, has the body and brains and maturity of a preadolescent. And despite that, she is extremely sexualized by the artist and viewed lustfully by at least (3!) different males, only one of whom is anywhere close to her age. I know this is escapist manga, but it gives me the chills:



The large age gap is not the problem.. the fact that the girl is an underdeveloped girl who's barely even a teenager is the problem. I believe the correct term is "hebephilia"... arguably a mental disorder.

There's a 4-year time skip at the end of volume 7, which makes the whole deal a little better... well... if you can forget all the really, really icky stuff going on before.

The story has a lot of emotional baggage between the brothers Kento and Rihito but falls short on romance for Mei. Leaving you wondering what is going on with Mei and why isn't anything working out for her. But on the other hand, the side characters are fun to read about as they all have sprouting romances with their butlers. Poor Mei, hope she finds love soon.

i support mei and rhito
rhito has done sooo much for mei , he has loved mei since they first met when she was young and became a great butler at that , he chose mei as his perfect master a long time ago

I hate how you people keep rallying for the other guy.
I LOVE THE BUTLER.
Can I just say I have yet to see one good smut scene despite the genre setting as smut. Its okay NOT to have it but don't LIE to me...
Definitely no Love Monster thats for sure.

I'm not even going to wait till i've reached chapter 61 before commenting. The artwork is the only thing I don't have any problems with. Definite eyecandy in this manga. ^^

But as for the rest... The story starts off ok, even if many may find it a little cliche.

This manga has some really great comedy scenes and the artwork alone will definitely leave you wanting for more. But if you are looking for stories with depth and proper character development, there are better mangas out there for you to read.

This is a really good read so why all these nasty comments..? I didn't find it that cliche and I think the story is pretty good and original ( I read some bishie bulter stories already...), It's funny and gets even more intersting with each chp upload. Who cares who she ends up with... The posted chp.s are only a few compared to the whole story, I'm sure many things will happen so stop nagging and keep reading. She still has to become a 'Lady' so she'll probably get older and I don't think she's stupid! She's honest and has a different way of looking at things and she got 3 highest mark in class lol. She's not noticing Kento, who cares, maybe she will who knows... Let's just keep reading

urg i rely hope she ends up with Kento, it's such an amusing manga series, im gonna watch the drama too!!! Its also hard to tell who mei really likes which keeps you interested till to end just to find out urg!!! i really want to kno but most of the manga sites have finished uploading the series i'm starting to doubt the sites, every since onemanga had been closed down the uploading has been slow...might have to buy the series just to finish it. The story is so touching that it can make you cry in the beginning even thou it hasnt even gone to the climax yet
