Description
Two years after the end of Bloody Monday, a new threat emerges intent on destroying Japan. But what will happen now that "Falcon" has since disappeared? Who will face the deadly "Shooter of the Magic Bullet?" Tune in to Bloody Monday Second Season and find out!
This is a decent manga, but there is some rather unpleasant flaws:
1. The secret agencies is so damn useless. The Japanese agency's approach to any problem is basically call Falcon to hack it and follow Falcon's every word. There is no intelligent person in the agency who can make good strategic and tactical decisions. They should let Falcon to be the Chief because they're following his every command anyway. And don't let me start on the American agency ffs. It's so unrealistic that American Secret Service is damn incompetent.
2. Fujimaru is way too OP. I mean, he can hack the hell of everything. He didn't make a single mistake in the whole series, both the first and second season. This made the plot rather flat, because there is no unexpected thing happened as Falcon beat every trouble each time.
3. The sister basically is just there either to be kidnapped or to separate Otoya from Fujimaru because Otoya must bodyguard her.
yes it's true, its not the same. However, I would have been disappointed if it was =D So far from what i've read it seems very very interesting. Im getting drawn into this more and more. by the end of chapter 2 I just wanted to read it all.
well I've read this in batch and I swear i didn't read spoilers so my comment on the first season was dead on well this is a fast action oriented series and not a mind game one though there a mind games but its primary a fast paced thriller the use of escalating disasters is the norm since the first season but we got used to that I liked terrorist-chan and I loved loli-haruka but some panty-shots the artists seems trying too hard and it turned to be a turn off, well hibiki is already that sexy why use forced stupid pantyshots (and I'm hardcore pervert) this only distract from the flow of the action/story
I'd just like to point out that so far it only has 3 chapters out so at this point in time i don't think that it is fair to compare it to the first season. Personally i like to give it at least one volume before i start judging. As it is i have to say that yes it feels much different than the first season. Is this bad or good? i don't know only time will tell. however i do agree that maybe now that they are older they might have new tactics and knowledge. So far I'm happy with what i see, lots of hidden motives, plots and revelations all in the first 3 chapters. But it is still to early to judge......
Season 1: Beautiful tactics and hacking methods. Great art. Beautiful expressions. Awesome story. Season 2: Lagged behind in tactics and hacking methods... did he exposed everything to us in season one? Great art. The expressions were still beautiful but much less commonly seen... Good story.
If you consider the fact that it takes me an average of one hour to one hour and 20 minutes to read a volume from season one... well, reread... and 40 to 50minutes for season two... you could tell the intensity of the story. The only thing that keeps season two from going is the beautiful heroine of perfection (yes I like yanderederedereish characters, especially if she is beautifully drawn, what of it?) and my odd expectations that J should be somehow involved (those hacker battles of sir kestrel with sir leafed marionette-looking double axeman are plain boring, battles with J is of higher level) with the clones... (I wish they finish translating the last two chapters so we could move on the season three about the clones, or so i suspect...)
Other than that, the only betterment in season is the humor and romance. What can I say? It's damn romantic. (If you find something wrong with my ideals of romance, just jump down the plane that is hijacked in chapter one for your own sake and the sake of the world, one less of you could help us save millions of resources for others to use)
Can't believe there's a second season for this. They should have ended at season 1. But I'm kind of looking forward to this season since they are adults and might have more knowledge and tactics then when they were young. But then again, I don't really want a second season. The First Season was ok, but adding another season is just kind of like going overboard. And this season is a father vs. son season? o.o kind of interesting and tragic at the same time
