Thanks 'tessa' it really helped me enjoy the story, though i had got the point about the guy trying to reach heaven, the translation in the scans made less sens when it came to the robots, but then ur explanation helped.

After reading Tessa's comment...

At first, I really didn't understand it, and at 8 pages it was very short. But after reading Tessa's comment and explanation, I suddenly get it, and it's a very beautiful message. Not to mention Fujiwara Kaoru's art, which, as always, is stunning.
Two points off for the initial difficulty understanding it.

I'm really disappointed to see that people didn't understand this short one-shot. It speaks about the desires of people to reach heaven, that perfect place where everyone would like to be. The character in the story tries the same thing. He travels through space and time. He goes up and up as humans develop technologies and get higher to the sky, the place where heaven should be, but after opening every "door" heaven seem to be one step ahead on them. The conclusion is simple: man can't never reach heaven in his life spent on earth so he should use his time to concentrate on being happy, not search for a way to reach it in this life time.
I'm not really good at explaining things, but I hope it was ok ^^.

Usually I love Fujiwara Kaoru work, even if sometimes it's a little hard to grasp. I felt like this story went beyond hard to grasp, though. I had pretty much no idea what was going on (which may be related to the translation, I guess, as well as her words), and it was very short, so overall very unsatisfying. Pretty much just generated a WTF reaction from me, though maybe others will have different reactions...
Still giving it a 5 because I feel like there was thoughtfulness hidden in there somewhere, and the art was, as usual, pretty.
