To be honest I'm not very interested in big boobs or ecchi and it's generally not the type of thing I read but I still read it till the end. It's quite interesting and I like the idea of changing roles. It's not my cup of tea yet it managed to keep me interested for 41 chapters and even got me to go "Dang, you can't stop it there." The idea is also quite unique and creative. So my conclusion is that it's good. At least it irritates me way less than stereotypical unrealistic ecchi that seems to be everywhere at times.

Basing this manga on the genre, I would give it a 8.
Before jumping away, realize that gag mangas exist, but sometimes it's enjoyable to read them. The whole manga kept me interested, which is rare. I am very critical, but sometimes letting go makes for a better reading experience. If you like action packed sex and crazy women with tits, then read this.

It has humor in places that I never see. I love different stories and this one is it. A normal salary man who has no luck with girls becomes a girl himself and it goes crazy from there. He experiences all kinds of real life events along with dragging his coworker in a mess of emotions and sex. It's not hentai, but it's good enough for me. It's labeled ADULT for a reason. I enjoy ADULT humor and ADULT plot lines. If you want to complain, it's not best to do it here. I usually don't like harem or seinen, but I couldn't stop reading! It's funny, sexy, rowdy, and emotional. A true rare gem.

Art: mediocre.

Plot: Nice beginning and, following the chapter 2 of the "How to destroy a plot"-book, pure mediocre follow-up. A standard-manga, forced rollercoaster romance is the main ingredient in this story. Gender-bender is the second ingredient. The other ingredients are coming from the hentai world. As usually the mangaka shows his own disgusting image of women by letting every man be successfully while imposing on a woman if he says "i love you" or something. Yes, if you violently force yourself on a women, and push her down to ground, she will automatically consents if you say "i love you". And guys can not say "NO" if a woman put a hand in his crotch. If this happens, guys brain is switched off, energy conserving or something.
Well, i think too that this would be a very good hentai. But it's only a mediocre manga. Yes, the gender-bender part works here pretty good. But something is always missing in the story, I miss some esprit to make it interesting. So the fun reading this manga was ... mediocre.

I have only wasted time whit this manga. My recommendation is find some other manga to read.

A manga is still a manga - nothing more and nothing less. But it doesn't have to be a hentai. That is, because generally the hentai's are some short ones, typical plot few pages with a sex scene or two. You shouldn't judge a manga like that. And i wont agree with "If this book had more hardcore sex scenes this would have been a rare gem, a hentai with an actual plot." - sex scenes aren't always contributing much to the plot, and this one isn't a hentai goddammit. Learn to read.

Enough of criticism of other comments - for me, personally, this one IS a rare gem. It has beautiful plot, it makes us think of our life choices, it has shown me, a normal guy how would a girl feel. It isn't a "decent Gender Bender" - it shows in the best possible way all implications of changing the gender. The protagonist and other people are lively - they really act like a person in their pants would act. And even for I too, am someone who likes sex scenes and generally VIEWS not READS hentai, the setting of ecchi and censure makes it even better for me.
If you guys would like to READ a good manga hentai with sex scenes - then Koibana Onsen goes in. But if you want to read something that is touching, that changes your view on some things, then there's no better manga than this one. Also, the same author made a short hentai gender bender called Farfalla. And last but not least - the very thing that makes me give it a 10/10 is that Nyotai-ka reminded me of Love Hina, with it's humour, but also serious view on life issues.

There's a scene were the main character is raped. I know how it sounds to complain about realism (or the lack thereof) in a manga. However, I get really tired of the "Oh well, it can't be helped, might as well let the guy(s) rape me anyways" attitude that tries to justify a rape scene.

Anyone looking for something that's not hentai might as well look elsewhere. I wanted to like it but it's way too close to hentai to even take remotely seriously. It makes the whole attempt at trying to have a story seem pointless. Also, it doesn't help that the main character is a loser and not someone you're likely to care about. It's like the author wanted to make a hentai with a story but without drawing the sex scenes.

I can't see this manga really satisfying anyone. There's not enough story to satisfy and too much sex/rape to satisfy anyone not looking for hentai. Yet, there's not enough sex/rape to satisfy anyone who is looking for hentai.

Update:
I've actually read hentai with more interesting stories and characters. Such hentai are extremely rare but they do exist. This manga is far too graphic(content-wise/not so much drawing-wise) to be merely called ecchi. I can read but clearly you can't. Ecchi is only supposed to be slightly perverse, such as a panty shot here and there and bit of cleavage. This has full on rape and sex scenes in it and none of them were necessary to the plot. The old fade to black method hasn't failed before. This "manga" went well beyond the standard definition of ecchi.

I've read up to chapter 19 and I can say without a doubt that there's nothing here that hasn't been done better elsewhere. The story is a mess of cliches. The characters are completely unlikable. The artwork is so-so. The jokes are about as stale as two week old Krispy Kreme. If you can choke down a two week old donut, lucky you but I can't do it.

If you want to see the definition of an ecchi gender bender with a decent story and good comedy read Okitsune-sama de Chu. If you want a gender bender with a well written and serious story, try Mai-Otome(manga only; the anime isn't a gender bender at all). If you want a gender bender that's a good blend of humor and story try Pretty Face. I could even recommend a few hentai that blow this "manga" out of the water on the story level, character level, art level and sex scene level all at once but I wont because they are true to the name hentai and I've purposely sealed off those memories. If you want something that's actually realistic, google "transgender" and find the real life stories of actual transgendered people(not my cup of tea, so no recommendations).

Right now this is a decent comedy gender bender + a lot of sexual content. Not enough hardcore penetration to qualify it as a hentai but it is there.

The gender bender is pretty unique in that he doesn't freak out as much as most in his situation. He becomes a girl, fondles himself/herself like most do but then immediately goes about trying to profit from it. Sadly he is still a (massive) loser/idiot. Interestingly the characters are all 20+ years old which is quite refreshing considering the glut of high school aged characters that typically dominate even hentai.

The art isn't the most expressive and the action scenes are not that good. It doesn't help that the only scans online at the moment are low quality. The paneling, especially early on, makes the pages feel cluttered. More splash pages/panels would have helped immensely.

The sex scenes were nicely done though as well as the expressions of the uglier guys. This leads to my point though. If this book had more hardcore sex scenes this would have been a rare gem, a hentai with an actual plot. As is, it is a decent gender bender.
