Description

Zhang Xiao Fan is a normal boy from the Temple Village, he usually fills up his pastime by playing with other kids from the village. One day, Zhang Xiao Fan and his friend Lin Jing Yu are accidentally dragged into a fight between Skytone temple divine monk Pu Zhi and an unknown assassin in black. At that same day, Temple Village was massacred, all the villagers except Zhang Xiao Fan and Lin Jing Yu are dead. The two traumatized survivors are then brought to Greencloud clan's temple by Greencloud clan disciples.

The characters have more depth than most of the xianxia novels. The MC does not have crazy power ups and goes through trials. He does not go slaying left and right. The pace is a lot slower but it develops a well rounded cast and story.
but if it is following the novel content size wise I can see it taking many more years and lasting hundreds of chapters given the 138 chapters so far not even covering the first quarter of the novel and it has already taken 2 years+
Great manhwa in my opinion , read all 126 chapters that were out in one go and i came here searching for more , but to my surprise there are no comments or any other info regarding this series.
This is probably one of best Martial arts/Fantasy manhwa out there ( tbh i find it to be a lot better then ID).
Damn i hate when i pick a manga and its chapters end at a clifhanger like this one :< meh ! i hope it updates fast !!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway i highly recommend this one !
EDIT: you can find the novel version thats being translated atm onlline on the games site:< easy with a little bit of googling:> just saying if anyone wants to check out the novel!
btw story in the novel is even better than in the manga:>
