1- The blue parasol on the beach
2- Apple and Honey
A story about university student Matsuda Natsuki and his thoughts about his life; about how he slowly began to withdraw himself from people and eventually ended up mostly alone.
The first chapter is second chronologically. In chapter one, Natsuki and Komano are already a couple. Chapter two is the story of how they met.
Kare no Barairo no Jinsei is a sequel of these two chapters

I really liked the second story. I wish there was more. First story was so-so for me. I have even read the sequel. I'm not a fan of pushy leads but I guess the partner needs that kind of person in his life for him to move forward in life.
Far from what i expected! This manga... absolutely ONE OF THE BESTEST OF THE BEST! AWESOME!
Super heart-warming! Both the story was so extraordinary. And the second story was so Slice-of-life! The characters was extraordinary, too! Almost all manga works by [a]Hideyoshiko[/a] is Trully Enjoyable with their own way! Definitely Lovely!

I love everything about this manga: plot, characters, art.
Regarding the main couple, Komano and Natsuki, I was a little confused at the beginning, mostly because the events in chapter 2 come before those of the first chapter (so chronologically speaking). And then, again, the extras appeared out of nowhere and I get easily confused if I don't know where each and every chapter sits. Anyhow, their story got me hooked from the very first page, so why complain any further? This is just a heads-up in case you get lost, ahah. Seriously though, I don't know what compelled me to them the most, if it was Komano's sense of humour or Natsuki lovely personality, I just couldn't let go of them. And on that note, please read Kare no Barairo no Jinsei as well (:

I liked the first story, although the second one seems a little bit sad. I'm not really a fan of sketchy art style but I'd read it for the story, since it's pretty nice! Overall, it was okay and not confusing!
Read this manga!
It's not just a bunch of formulated yaoi, it's a really nice and sweet and sometimes sad reflection on life. I cried! I like both pairings, one of the first where I've equally liked the "one-shot" pairing to the main pairing.

Loved the main story and the oneshots were great too! I'm a big fan of mangaka who, dispite having a very sketchy art style, just know how to evoke all sorts of emotions within the reader, make them care for the characters and all that!
Make sure you read the sequel Kare no Barairo no Jinsei!! You can find all 6 chapters online. It's a GREAT continuation, especially if you want more action between Komano and Natsuki!

This volume had two well-developed stories in it. The art was not typical BL style. It was simple, clean, and conveyed the character's emotion really well. Both stories had a calm and gentle feeling to them. I especially liked the second one which had to do with the world ending in 2012.
