First off: you HAVE to read the sequel, Shichigatsu no Kousaten, if you want any kind of ending, because this one ends straight up in the middle of things, without it even being an acceptable open ending.
The rest? Probably Takao Hiroi's weakest work, from what I've read so far. Haru is too unemotional and disinterested in everything most of the time, and Natsu is either off in his own world or acting "quirky" (blushing around Haru and being overly interested in him). They don't interact much, which is odd considering that they're the couple this volume supposed to be centered on. Most of what we know about them, we find out from other characters rather than from them spending time with each other or talking! I bet I could count the lines exchanged between them on both my hands and feet, and have spares left. And there are a lot of side characters that, likewise, take up page space without their interactions being that compelling.
It's a very odd story that reads like a draft.

Bland yet confusing

This manga does not offer a lot both plot-wise and characters-wise. While the story is not the first I've heard of, it's the characters that truly made me itch, along with some very confusing details in the manga. Between the 2 main characters, the smaller guy is downright typical for the art student motif in BL stories' usual angst setup, while the bigger one has no personality or merits whatsoever - this is not an exaggeration by any means. They have absolutely no chemistry, which turns any kind of 'affection' between them just awkward and unbelievable. Like why do they even like each other? Also, the pacing is super weird, and the storytelling is underwhelming; I feel like the artist wasn't actually sure how to structure the panels at all. There are very puzzling thrown-in side characters whose purposes seem rather stupid in the end; and there are TONs of questions popped up in my head about details here and there that bugged me a lot. Definitely not an enjoyable read for me.
Well ... if only the sequel was translated too...

Then I could have an ending to the Haru and Natsu!!! Though some of the characters where drawn similar in this story and it tend to confuse me at times, but I was able to pull through.
No ending!

I'm frustrated that this suddenly ends. It needs a continuation. Gwengwel says there is one, but doesn't give the title. Anyone know what it is? I would like to know what happens between Haru and Natsu, since the story ended at a turning point.
Not yaoi and prequel of...

Hum, that's not yaoi. I'm not even sure I can call that shounen ai since the gay element is only one-side and in the subplot. Not that the story was bad.
It's felt more a prequel for the next one, that I know about thanks to Blissful Sin
