The usual

I don't exactly have a favorable opinion about this since the first story deeply soured it for me. It goes a little like this:

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
So what do you do when your lover tries to snub your sex-based relationship of two years in a fit of self-destructive angst?

Push him down, bend him over, and taunt him while you rape him! Then stalk him until you find out where he lives and push your way back into his life.

Boyfriends forever!

So if you're not into the usual generic yaoi dynamics, don't bother. Otherwise, I'd still recommend starting at chapter 3. You won't be missing much, and it skips straight to the smut and fluff. After that point it mostly avoids consent issues and keeps to the romance.

The art is also nice and the scanlators did a very good job, so if the summary and tag cloud appeals to you, you'll probably still have a good time.

I can't get into the art

It's not that I don't enjoy strange artstyles, I do. It's just that the art seems so...static all the time. There doesn't seem to be a lot of depth in it and the character's faces don't change that much. It makes the characters bland and I can't invest in their conflicts.

Plots themselves were pretty basic as well. Run of the mill stuff, nothing groundbreaking. Overall, a big "meh" from me.

I guess that only goes for the 2nd story. The 1st story was interesting, but only because of the drama displayed, since the characters were after all friends with 'benefits'. Second story takes the cake. It was heartfelt, cute, and passionate. Basically, it was about a guy being confessed to by his friend and feeling for the first time, bothersome feelings of love, which made him troubled over his place in their relationship. After some time, they accept their feelings for what they are, which was pretty darn cute in my opinion. And then there was the third story. The 3rd story was kind of bland, but then again it was a lot shorter than the previous two. Over all, I think most people will enjoy this manga for the second story anyways.

Despite the fact that these stories are undeniably 'f*cking corny' exactly like how the mangaka intended them to be (she herself stated this in the after words lol), I have to say I actually enjoyed them more than I thought I would. I don't have much to comment on rather than they're quite decent, with some moments that even managed to shine in spite of my not-so-high expectation. Although I think I need more time to really get used to the art, it's definitely unusual in a good way.

Pretty artwork, unsure flows & a bass guitar.

First off - I like the drawing style pretty much, so for me just this was already enough to stick with this Manga till the end. The character design is fitting and stylish, also the backgrounds and coloring was done nicely. ^^*

Now, let's take a look at the storylines and settings. The first chapters (Shiranu wa Omae Bakari) have been an interesting setting, though there are a few moments I was hesitant about the development and so I agree with the other comment on this. The second pairing (from Dakara Kao mo Mitakunai) was more authentic in some aspects and fit well in the grad-student scenario. Especially the "snow parts" got me. As for the last chapters ... I love bass guitars and music storylines, so I might be a bit influenced, but I liked them and think of the characters as likeable.

To sum it up - A nice and pretty to look at read.
