Dropped

I started reading this expecting a romantic comedy manga. I've read the 8 scanlated chapters, and 13 raw chapters( manga is 21+ chapters so far) and still the relationship is as previous comment have said non existent. The 2 main characters have interacted with each other in present time literally 2 times throughout the 21 chapters. The manga is 99% comedy so far with no romance at all.

I'm dropping this because I wasn't looking for strictly comedy series. If you are then I guess you can check this out. Don't expect any romance though(at least in the first 3 volumes, who knows how this manga turns out later on).

Well, there are hundreds of mangas in the same genre as this one. You know, school life rom-com. If you hate the genre I don't believe this will change your mind on it so you can move on as there's nothing for you here.

Now... If you like the genre or are neutral about it, I'd definitely advise you to check this out. Let's just set something straight first: this is not ground-breaking, or a masterpiece. But it's still worth a read, since, in my opinion, it manages to stand out a bit from its many peers. The jokes are good, some situations are hilarious. The characters are likable, even if not great.

From the synopsis it may seem like something sudden happens and she falls for him for whatever reason but in fact that's one of the things I've been enjoying this far (consider I'm writing this after 4 chapters) - their relationship is almost nonexistent for now. He likes her, but you can tell that they're worlds apart, hell the best he can get is a timid greeting everyday. The way the author isn't rushing things with some kind of event where she starts liking him from the beginning (like most shounen rom-com tend to do) is somewhat refreshing. I hope the author doesn't relinquish that and I sure as hell hope this doesn't turn into a generic rom-com, since for now - while not ground-breaking or particularly innovative - it feels a bit refreshing.

-similar drawing style (not that it's a bad thing)
-photoshopped photos that the girl herself picks up and sees (although not a nude one)
-on a magazine (not quite a model)

despite the similarities this manga seems more comedic than I"s, especially with his "time-slip"/fantasies, looking forward to seeing if the protagonist develops a relationship with his "wife"
