Description
A hundred years ago, the genius inventor behind androids, Professor Gepetto, left behind a mysterious inheritance. After the war between humans and androids has ravaged the planet, androids start to break down and run out of time, while humans are struggling to survive in the lifeless wasteland that is Earth. A single blue-haired android left behind in the Professor's estate may be the key to solving the crises as decades-old plans are finally set into motion.

OK. My emotions says this webtoon is on par with DICE and definitely, definitely better than GAMER as it was in 2017 (when I stop reading it). But to fully enjoy it, you need to be in a right frame of mind.
This story is exploration of what is it to be alive. To be sentient. To be real, for if you want.
Is it memory? What will happen if you lost some, and then some more, while getting new ones? When will you stop being you?
Is it what you build of? Will you not be real if you brain is made of sand, not coal? If you replace half of your body to mechanical, will you stop be human? If you replace 90% mechanical body for organic, will you become one? If 100%?
Emotions? Something else?
But that is not the one and only theme, I assure you. Second, no less important theme is understanding of others. Why people other people do what they do, their reasons, believes, circumstances? When should we cooperate, on which terms, can we be allies while hating each other? Can we stop this hate eventually?
When to cooperate? When to fight? When not to?
So many questions mark, yeah. Of course, no definite answers given. Nobody knows as of now, after all, and most answers can't be logical, and univocal. They are mostly value statements, and for you to choose. Good food for thought anyway. Really good.
I can't say YEON Je-Won give us some new point of view, things nobody thought before, no. The good thing here is all existing ones combined here in a really consistent, not fractured way. No sudden hops from theme to theme. No narrative breaks.
And of course, this thoughts are seamlessly interconnected with plot, characters, action and all this entertaining stuff, marvelously balanced. This is not boring philosophical talk toon with minimal action here and there, no. But is not full action toon with minor mission cutscenes. This makes this great in my eyes.
Now flaws, cause sadly, they are here as well.
First: At least in official webtoon . com translation, there is little emotion in speech. They are in the art, in decisions, but in speech, they are subdued somewhat.
Second: plot is good, it has fair share of plot twists, more or less consistent, but it, for most part, is a mean to an end. It's somewhat generic, really. Distopian future, mans vs robots, small group wanting to end conflict. Not really new, not original. It's a tool to show us all the questions above. It is great tool, it's skillfully used here. But it is not a detective mystery where plot is actually important.
Third: some thoughts have a subtlety of a 10 ton ACME anvil. Not every, not most, but when you see it, you got what I mean.
Overall, I recommend this comics from all of my heart to everyone who likes action packed stuff and some good thoughts and do not think they must be separated.

The story is predicatible and also average. Its an oversued trope for its genre, but since the story has good visual (not great) and good plot (more like average), you will not be sad reading to waste your time.

It's not bad, definitely not as bad as some people make it out to be. True, it's not the best, but it has a constantly progressing storyline with a more or less clear plot. The MC develops from a naive but smart kid into a determined youth,

. The only thing I really dislike is that the human side keeps coming up with new technologies like the Britannians in Code Geass. Oh there's that problem, in one month we're so gonna develop something that deals with that. Oh you countered, how about an even more advanced technology in two months? Meh, it doesn't get that bad, but if it's humans versus androids who would support the humans? Filthy humans, kill them all!Good Read

The story certainly isn't original and the characters are similar to many other manga but it is still a very enjoyable read.
Firstly the story remains lighthearted despite the horrendous setting it plays out in.
Secondly the great mystery behind everything is interesting and something that can keep everyone wondering what will be discovered next.
It is in some ways similar to the film "I Robot" as it shows how robot and human could understand each other. It also manages to show that the sides in this war are not as clear cut as many of the characters in the series would like which is great.

Nothing new, nothing original. Same old theme: A pure hearted (annoying) boy meets another pure hearted from a different race chased by evil people.
Plot? Cliched fights, cliched characters and annoying personalities. Or maybe you like such theme works?

While the plot isn't the best the characters are interesting and engaging. The comparison of the father to Hitler is very far off as the father is a scientist not the leader. What he would be is a scientist working on the atomic bomb and then they used that to win the war.
Boring and predictable

Theres only 10 chapters currently available but...
This is stupid. Really stupid. The story takes place in a 'post'-android war dystopian world (complete with a bearded leader holding up a fist while making victory speeches while the scene flip-flops between piles of bullet riddled and rusting destroyed androids) but quickly devolves into a shounen-"kid finds special android, special android defends kid from a literal 'skullsmashing, gut ripping, just slaughtered about a dozen armed soldiers'-hostile android".
Oh and the kid? Yeah, hes the son the guy who invented the weapon who won the war. If you had any sympathy for the androids, the kid you've been watching the whole time is the android equivalent of the Son of Hitler. And Hitler won the war.
