This is a very sweet (and short) story about two boys that fall in love. Its absolutely adorable, the art complements the tone really well, and the confession scene might be one of the cutest I've read.

-- I love this! I'm so in love with everything in this manga! The characters are adorable no doubt, even the side characters no less. They're full of personalities ranging from all kinds, which adds a lot of spices to the seemingly usual plot. The story is very sweet with just the right amount of angst, thus could manage to tug at your heartstrings while softly nurturing your soul (gosh that sounds super cliched). The pacing is virtually perfect for these types of stories, and the development is logically endearing as well.
I've noticed that the art here is somewhat strikingly similar to that of Jaryuu Dokuro and Aniya Yuiji, both of whom are among my absolute favourite mangakas and artists, which also means I'm fond of it very much. It's a shame the cover couldn't remotely express the awesomeness and complexity of the actual artwork inside the book.
By the time I finished reading, the biggest thing that popped into my head was the urge to read a sequel or something to this manga. Seriously, after that teasing extra I want to see some real 'actions' so bad, and I'm sure the mangaka is going to excel at that department *wink*

Love It
They don't talk much or let we know all of what they're thinking . Just take a deep and slow look for each movement, espression of the characters and enjoy the story.

ahhhh! this manga was SO sweet and adorable, i love how slowly and innocently everything progressed. you really feel all their insecurities and awkwardness and joy in the smallest things. also i loved the lack of any overt drama, just a simple story of a sincere friendship morphing into a first love.
the extra was such a tease. i want to see them living together and then eventually...yeah! lol. ;_;

Edited: I haven't read such an adorable shonen-ai in years. And every time I read it it gets better, seriously. There's always something new to disclose, a certain expression, a certain detail in a response. And it's always, always so funny. Kiyo is just too awesome in his awkwardness and Ino is lovely.
As for the story as a whole, it has a wonderful feeling to it, and like some of the reviewers pointed out, it made me smile almost from beginning to end. It reminded me of my high school years... the first love, the first confession, the innocent anxiety of what will happen tomorrow, the goosebumps every time the phone rings with a message... of course it's basically hell on earth - not to mention, many of us don't get to be so lucky as either of these guys... still, it was a great read. Genuine, funny, fresh, sweet. Made my night.
On a side note: the last chapter, the extra, was really promising. I wish there was more, even if it didn't show anything. Ah~~ fell in love with the couple.
Edited II: It seems like there really will be another extra to the extra, other than Start Line, of course. I mean, I think there's a follow-up to the part when they are all-grown up, ahah. Look forward to it, I know I am :3

I haven't enjoyed a manga this much in ages! It was one of those ones that are so cute that you end up smiling. It made me almost tear to be honest which is pretty rare. Basically the story is very slow paced but this definitely aided the story in feeling more realistic. This is how first love turns out to be....red faces, unexplained jealousy...but this story isn't hardcore angst or anything, in fact it has a very relaxed vibe. Art work is pretty average, everything is in proportion. The facial expressions convey emotions well. The manga is quite an interesting insight in to school life , we get to see a culture festival and the whole thing just has a lovely feel to it. Basically, you should read this !

This is a really adorable manga. The main two guys meet and their progression from strangers, to friends, to eventually secretly harboring feelings for one another feels very natural. It's very innocent, so expect a lot of blushing and stuttering.
But it really is cute, I definitely recommend it if you want to read something sweet between two boys who start to like one another.

This is a very sweet little entry about two boys who share a commute. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as the story itself goes, but it feels very genuine and caring. I wish it could be a little longer, but as it is, it is a very nice little bite of goodness!
