I don't know what I was expecting.. The art is really pretty and the characters are really nice and I mean.. just look at how adorable that cover is. But then this was so creepy and psychological and with such a twistending?? I love this to bits! Not what I was expecting but it didn't disappoint at all!

Lol there admittedly are some pretty weird stuff going on here, but I'd prefer to regard it as the intriguing type of weirdness rather than inappropriate. The stories presented all have their WTF moments for sure, some more than others, but I do think that the manga's ratings are a bit off.

The second story is a bit bizarre, but mostly in character designs rather than the story itself. I guess it's the least weird among the three stories?

The third story on the whole is pretty normal for me, just standard BL stuff, and it would have ended up that way were it not for a certain scene near the end which had me cringe pretty hard. For anyone curious, google 'Gankyū name purei' (眼球なめプレイ) or 'Oculolinctus'. Japan's weird fetishes strike again! lol. But then again, if not for those weird stuff, we might not have had such a rich and diversified Japanese culture like we do today after all, and BL might not even have been a thing O_O

The first story, as I think we readers could all see, actually has quite a dark theme underlying, but with such a bubbly vibe that it gives off, even until now I'm still wondering what the author was trying to convey. I like the premise a lot because after all, not a lot of fairy tales and happy endings have a 'after ever after' story following, and the idea & presentation in the first few pages are almost genius. If only the the mangaka had had more space and time to fully explore the theme to a more substantial depth. I feel that a simple, cheerful one-shot isn't enough to achieve that goal. Hopefully in the future Jaryuu Doruko-sensei could write an even more in-depth manga that could completely satisfy fangirls (or me at least).

Btw, is this manga really yaoi? I know there's a bit of nudity but that's practically nothing for avid yaoi fans, heck there isn't even much action going on lol.

Chapter 1 of this anthology reminded me of the 'Don't Hug Me I'm Scared' video- things went to hell out of nowhere and there was this abrupt neutral (non)ending. Like the other reviewer said, it was really weird how there were no consequences for what the main character did...the 'protagonist' and his love interest were creepily 'all smiles'. Perhaps the mangaka was thinking of developing the story but dropped the idea and stuck a random ending to it? I'm not sure...

The other stories were okay. Story 3 was probably the one that was the most complete and made the most sense.

I liked the last story, but the forst one was messed up... I don't mind screwed up characters, but I hate when the characters around him act like it's just fine and let them do whatever with no consequences...

Doesn't this need a psych tag? It's more than just yaoi for sure. Well the first chapter is, so I'll have too wait until more chapters get released to see whether the couple continues or if it's a one shot. The story is not horrible by itself though, but it's no cutesy slice of life. I was momentarily creeped out when things started getting weird.

love can eat you

Ow, I'm surprised of the reaction here, people are getting shocked pretty easely. At regular time I feel like the one who's the weak heart, especially lately I've been reading some pretty weird shit that got me spleechless (not in the good sense) (for the curious one : Shiiku Gakari Rika/ Jealousy (Scarlet Beriko) ) . But that's not the subject.

I understand the first story as a love illness, when the feeling is getting too intense and it's becoming hard to handle. I think, the mangaka intempt to show how the feeling can become so strong that it can easely eat you alive and transform into something dangerous for the person in question. The temptation to dive right in and drown into it is seducing, especially when nothing in particular happen in one's life. Love can eat you alive and it isn't always a good thing.

But I agree that answering domestical violence with only a couple of punch isn't gonna solve the real problem, and domestical violence can never be excuse as an act of love.

I truely appreciate the art of Jaryuu Dokoro but I also hate her tendency to always make one shot when there is a potential for a serie. What are we supposed to do, us readers once we got attached to the characters and we wanna watch them grow ? hun ? What are we supposed to do with all theses feelings ? eat them ?

The premises of the first two stories were very much intriguing while the third one is your tame, sweet, collage-days-after-reunion BL story, which I might add isn't run of the mill. (Also, I am a sucker for these types, so yeah)
As disparate as the premises are of all three stories what joins them all is the bubbly-cute art style and story telling. The stories and characterizations are fairly consistent with the theme and plot, which definitely very gratifying. That's why it's befuddling to see the ratings for this manga so skewed.

Well that certainly was a ride. I don't even really know how where to put these stories. They were so different. I can't even tell if it was different in a good way. I like the mangaka and the art, but the stories we're just a bit too crazy I suppose. I'm usually a big fan of crazy but, well... I'm at a lack of words. I suppose you'll have to see for yourself.
