This is a beautiful manga and the artwork combined with the storyline is just breathtaking. I love how each and every one of the couples is explored but it still retains its original plot. The supernatural part of this manga is what intrigued me the most and probably one of my favorite couple is Asari and Shoui. I definitely recommend this manga to any die hard yaoi loving fan, seriously lol.

I love Ze so much that I kept on re-reading it every single night. I love Himi and Genma, what a cute couple (although I wouldn't want to Genma as my Master, but I do love having Himi as a Kami Sama).

It's different than most of other yaoi manga. Of course, I love Yuki Shimizu sensei art, it's beautiful. I like how she have the mischievous character in her manga. In Love Mode, there's Kiichi sensei who loves to tease Reiji's little kitten, in Ze, there's Asouri who loves to bully others.

So the good thing about this manga is that it is UNIQUE, i don´t think there are anothers mangas like this one.

It´s cute, sad,hot, and it has a plot with supernatural stuff, what more you can ask for a yaoi manga?

And the final story, Waki Arc... There was Mitou Riikichi, he has a little sister called Uta and daughter Yukino. He had a wife Momoyo who died early. And so, Waki got picked up by Riikichi and healed Uta's face... Basically Waki was a human trash with mysterious longevity... Then he befriended a wolf, but wolf got killed, then Waki got suicidal, and then Rikiichi happened. Rikiichi's dolls were Asari, Konoe and Magane. Uta's doll was Shirahase. Magane was a wolfboy and Waki's love interest - however there was an enormous romantic tention between Waki and Rikiichi. Then, the two Endou brothers happened: Takamitsu and Hozumi. Hazumi married Uta, they had a baby - Shoui. Yukino married Takamitsu (quite dominant wife), gave birth to Kotoha and adopted Shoui. And... Well, this yaoi was a long journey, a great one but ending left me slighly unsatisfied. But if I don't rate Ze 10/10, what else can be rated that way?

I won't go into details, but one story arc completely ruined the manga: it is basically the story of a rich, impulsive rapist and his victim, a living paper doll. Glorifying rape in any way or form is simply disgusting. This manga not only makes no logical sense, but also roots for the main character, who is a terrifying man lusting after his slave.

Morals got cast out the window here.

That aside, the characterization of each person also sucked. I saw little character development, and the past arcs are not fully explored. Very disappointing. The only somewhat interesting aspect was the premise of paper dolls who loyally served their masters.

This is killing me! I shed a lot of tears for this series. Even though the stories always comes back to happy endings, it's still so heart-wrenching to go through all those incidents. And it's hard for me to deal with all the emotional ups and downs. But I can't help reading it because it's beautiful and loving. But for real, crying is really not good for health, man!

This is quite a popular yaoi but for some reason I just cannot get myself to like the characters. I cannot quite put my finger on the reason, but I dislike the character portrayals. How can I feel anything if the partners are paper puppets?

The story was good, it only got really great from the 13th chapter upwards. Anything before that was average to me. Therefore I can't agree with the all the comments of Ze being that amazing. It was good, no doubt about that.

I've been reading yaoi since like 10 years ago but this is the first time a yaoi manga can make me feel this addicted, to the point that I bought all the released volumes in 1 day(though I cant quite read japs that well), the fanbook, and surfing the internet for extra chapters like a posessed fujoushi.
I must admit there's no plot development other than telling readers various types of homo relationships (moe, S&M, shota, equally manly, etc etc), but seriously this manga is just beautiful that I dont effing care about damn plot. It's that GREAT (And I dont even know Shimizu Yuki before this... I dont like Love Mode)

And one thing I realized, there's no summary in manga sites could picture this series properly. The thing is, there are no main character in Ze, it changed in every arc, so telling Raizou x Kon case in summary isnt really provide information.

Definitely one of, if not the most, my favorites.

I loved this story as soon I finished to read the first chapter.

Shimizu-sensei's imagination combined whith her improved drawing skills are more than great.
The characters, the stories of every couple and the "Kami-sama" and "Kotodama-sama" concepts are the best of all it!
A Paper Doll who can heal his/her master taking contact with the body's fluids give us a the hot part that every yaoi lover look forward in a story!
Shimizu-sensei is a genious and I'm very happy to have discovered this story of her.
I hope she make more and more of this story because I never get tired of it!
