Realistic but also a little sad at the end.

This was a very realistic portrayal of a love story, the likes of which many of us may have experienced before. People keep falling into and out of love. People move on and find another purpose to their lives when they are rejected or get out of a relationship. Our entire existence does not have to focus on a single person. We can be happy and successful even while being single. And that, I think, was the purpose of this story. I appreciated it, but I can't help feeling bad for Shindou.

it's too realistic that i want to throw the pc when i read it... i'm the type of person who's into happy ending or both the protagonist end up w/ eachother or it's okay if they died together but i absolutely hate when they go their separate ways.. >-< T_T

i'm sorry that's just my opinion... read it first, don't let the comments affect you :)

When I first started reading I was like ahh another typical so who is it gonna end with but it was different, enjoying highschool falling in love and still 'there is a long life ahead' , that difference makes it worth reading smile

It's even hard rating this manga because I feel exactly like asashou. I just didn't know what to think when finished it. It's so real that it's scaring. The mangaka portrays perfectly how timing changes everything and how choices that seem small at the moment can turn out REAL big. It's heart aching watching how the character getting together with someone pulled her away from another and there was no real turning back. We get to see that she gets to talk to the other guy again, but not as much as before.

This was a good unresolved romance. Both the China and Haruka came to realize their love too late when each is already taken.

I wish this was longer. That both of them will be able to find in each others arms later, as if it is fated them to be.

Ah... This was a nice read. A simple, bittersweet high school romance, but well-executed. Even though China is confused about how to react, she doesn't appear annoying or irritatingly selfish. It's nicely balanced. The art matches the story well.

my comment is that this story is not like other stories i say that a lot about other stories but this one is really worth looking at smile
the development of the characters is really touching as the story progresses, i was hoping that there would be more chapters but then again just 4 chapters was good enough for this kind of story as if the story would've been spoilt if it carried on.
i recommend it to people looking for a bitter sweet love story at this moment and don't be judged by the art or the year it was published on, its the story that counts smile

the girl realised her feelings in the end after 2 and half years but it was too late for her and she ends up alone, eventhough she was looking forward for a beatifull future

this manga leaves you with a feeling you can't describe with words. even though, the flow of the story was normal and the end was somehow natural, you just feel a sore in your throat that the end is the complete opposite of what you expected. the end wasn't supposed to be a sad ending, but still, when i finished reading the manga, i started wondering "what if" many times.
