There are a lot of school boy romances and cliches in the BL circles of the internet. I find myself drawn and engaged to the first chapter. There are tropes presented, true, a closeted gay student who's in love with his best friend and resents females for so easily capturing a man's love which he desires.
YOU KNOW WHAT? It's just set up magnificently. The art's nice but it's the dialogue and the narrator that I liked best. He's clearly in that stage in his life where's he's still finding himself.
In real life he'd be a character I'd hold an uneasy pity for. I have this intense curiosity to see how he turns out because he could turn into a monster or a lover.
I'm eagerly waiting for more!
