I read this collection over a year ago, but "A Grave Sin" the only one that I think of time and time again. It is one of the best one shots I have ever read. It is right up there alongside some of Kunieda Saika's more serious one shots that I respect and admire, such as the ones in "Bannin" and "Like as a Time Will Come When It Will Rain."
The art, although competent and expressive, isn't particularly outstanding; it is the story and the scenes used to tell the story and are positively breath-taking in intensity and power. When the young, angry son is shocked, I was shocked. When the uncle is betrayed and treated cruelly, I felt like my heart was breaking. It was incredible! This is the type of one shot that makes me reinvigorated and inspired to continue my academic studies as to what goes into one manga that makes it bang out emotion and psychological truth, verses on that falls completely flat. It was exhilarating.

My 10 only goes to Kobayashi and Shuri. I wished it was more based on their relationship, then the sadistic teacher and his idiotic pupil. Hopefully the mangaka will make a volume just for them. I can't seem to get enough of them. Even if you give me a low rating my love for them will never die!!!!!

Guess I'm just gonna go with the trend, here.
I really didn't like the main story. I usually like mean/evil characters, but I didn't like Shiba-chan in the least. And up till the end of the story, I felt like I couldn't really grasp his character and pretty much what went on in his head - was he even really in love with Kousuke? And even Kousuke was a bit too passive.
But Shuri and Kobayashi... I LOVED them!! It was different but sweet and serious at the same time... I adored them both!! (Shuri was just too hilarious and sweet... and Kobayashi is just so cool!). And the extra one-shots were really nice and sweet (I especially loved the sad story of Atsushi).
Good manga overall, if it weren't for the annoying main couple.

main story characters suck ass! i hate their story. if it was just about them i would hate this series! fortunately the second pairing of kobayashi and shuri made the series amazing! i love them soo much! and the little oneshots scattered all through were nice too! it was a perfect series besides the main story!

This manga is good, the art is cute (if I had to rate the art only it would have 9/10).
Now let's come to the story...
The main pairing ( shiba-chanXkousouke) was really disturbing to me... The seme is evil and all the way you think like what this he's tottaly crazy!!l While I was reading this story I often was like ... are you sure that he's in love
No kidding and at other times I though what will he do next? (expecting him to be an asshole) Because all the time I had the feeling that he was going to break him down and be a totally jerk (I wouldn't mind that) but here he was an only half-hearted devil... really annoying...
Beside the uke caracter is totally pissing me off! following someone so obviously evil to the end of the world!!!
If I had to rate this story putting my feelings aside I would put an 8.5/10 but considering my feelings I would put a 6/10 cause the art is great...
Then come my favorite pairing HandaXkobayashi
I like how they confessed their feelings So cute~
'you're the only one that I can't forget' and 'if you really won't forget me stay with me' !!! *excited*
and I like how cute their feelings are really ...I can't really describe it you must read it to know~
here I can't put my feelings aside and rate it 10/10!

I loved the sensitivity paid to Kobayashi ans Shuri- my favourite couple in the series. Hope they come back in their own series. Very enjoyable and easy to read. The plot flows well, as does the artwork.
I loved the second and fifth stories. They were so cute! I had a smile on my face after reading both of them. Definitely worth your time. Off to volume 2!
the first volume i liked but was a little bit like any other yaoi manga with a cold-seme and an adorable-uke kind of thing thou kobaashi and shuri's relationship was sweet. the second volume to me was a little bit odd with some other character put in suddenly but still rather good . the ending however was kinda twisted especially how shiba sees love and how he treated kousuke was kinda mean, i sometimes like the cold-seme type but that's cuz they actually are nice when it concerns their lover but shiba was just plain (i can't even find the word for it)
but the art was good and the story not a cliche plus shuri was funny and his relationship with kobayashi as i mentioned was kinda funny interesting

This is mostly a great title- great artwork, fluid storytelling and interesting stories that manage to draw different emotions from the reader (one side story made me cry like a little girl). The character of Shuri the protective older brother is truly a joy and I think many people will agree that Kobayashi and him should have been the main focus of this story (though they do already get a fair share of attention).

Shibaura is a messed up guy and it's discontenting to see Kousuke embrace Shibaura's twisted ideas about love so readily. I couldn't help but feel Kousuke is entering an abusive relationship with a cruel man. I normally enjoy cold bastard semes but this is too much :/
