When you compare it to Highschool of the Dead

do you compare the ecchiness factor too? Because it's one of the most important aspect of Hsotd.

If this manga has no H-factor whatsoever, consider all those comment neglible.

EDIT: Nope, not a single bit like Hsotd. Emo manga for readers that care about that type of manga. If you are looking for a Hsotd-alike (heck, even a HostD clone), you can just look elsewhere.

FULL Review: I wont spoil the details here, in case someone may feel this manga worth a read. lemme touch upon a few points. First, the hero got weak eyes. You know in lots of manga the hero got clear, strong, or steady eyes, right. Well, this boy got weak eyes. His character is not much better. Oh, not bad, as such. but the boy is not assertive. Maybe he can raise sympathy with readers, maybe. But he's uninteresting, from my point of view, at least. The last point: The art is good in its style. Still, no H? boring battlescene? Two volumes couldnt make me interested.

I wont rate this manga.

Personalty, this is only one of the two horror zombie-theme manga can get me this emotion, the other one is Undead, but that one invoke another kind of emotions, unlike this one.

Its like High school of the Dead without the underlying feeling of hopelessness and despair

I have to highly disagree with this line, in HSoD, at least the main character has his friend he can trust, can rely on, and some nice boobs to change of pace (that ex-H artist for ya). In this Dawn-Tsumetaite, Nagasawa just there, in the darkness, alone, struggle to fight what might exactly what he will become in the future, with a bastard doctor who see him as nothing but plaything and convenient guinea pig. With no one to turn to, he struggle desperate alone out there, with the only outcome i can come up with just two first volume, is a bullet in the head(dispose of un-usable experimental subject, if you can't figure it out by yourself). With its dark background and not so horror-ist zombie, you won't feel much of horror, but can focus more on the despair, hopeless cover Nagasawa

I really like this series already. It has a nice plot, the zombies aren't too gross, and the main character is pretty lovable. I just wish a group would pick up the project!

Edit: It was finally picked up! OMGosh, I don't think I can express my happiness! I love this. So much. I truly do.

I don't know why, but I find the storytelling in this series to blow chunks.
