i freaking love this manga. the drawings are perfect, the sex scenes are awesome (teehee) and that its yaoi.
but as the director guy pointed out in chapter 20, ryouma doesn't trust izumi. its nice that he gets worried and all but sometimes you gotta let go and trust sometimes but i can understand why he feels that way because of the sexual harassments but ryouma should know izumi and what kind of person he is.

I was always kind of borderline with yaoi, mostly into one-shot NaruSasu stuff, BUT THIS MANGA TAKES THE CAKE. I LOVE this yaoi! And waiting for chapter 17 is the utter WORST spot to stop at. ; n ; I really love Ryouma and his personality is soooo funny. xD Izumi can be a little clutz at times but his reasoning and personality is hilarious as well! And I'm REALLY fond of his otaku-ness. xD



I love this yaoi and honestly Ryouma is the best guy ever. So funny. Some scenes are a little repetitive (like the spontaneous kissing) and thus lose their impact, but still, maybe because I am new to the yaoi fandom, I love this manga.

I think I'm probably too old for this. It's not the worst thing I've ever read, but it is painfully cheesy. The characters mainly do whatever you would expect them to for each of their stereotypes with little diversion, but there is enough to make reading bearable. It definitely has a shoujo feel to it as compared to most of the BL I typically enjoy. The art is also just ok. It feels amateurish. It does have an upbeat, positive feel to it which I suppose is nice in its own way. Overall not my thing though. I prefer more realism outside of comedy and this just isn't all that funny.

I've had this on my "to read" list for sooooo long, and I eventually got around to reading it today... and oh my god I absolutely love it. I'm seriously annoyed at myself for not reading this gem sooner!
The art is just gorgeous, and all the characters are extremely loveable -- the main 4 all have their own little quirks...
I honestly can't describe just how great this manga is, so just give it a try yourself if you're after a feel-good story. It'll definitely leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling and a goofy grin on your face ^__^

my favourite yaoi manga ever seriously and ive read and loved a lot.
its the first i ever read and anytime i see a new chapter it brings a big smile to my face.love it

When I was reading the latest chapter I suddenly realized I was smiling the whole time. THAT'S the kind of manga it is - really funny, sweet and adorable. Definitely not something to take too seriously, but so, so enjoyable.

i agree with what others have said -- don't let the showbiz plot put you off on this one. also keep in mind, this is a COMEDY (a damn good one too, seriously made me lmao) and primarily for entertainment purposes (it's not one of those 'profound' yaoi titles that make you go deep into thought) so it's not meant to be taken too seriously. so love the characters and plot for what they are and just ENJOY IT!

the artwork is also really nice! as a fan of ZAOU Taishi , i can see her artwork as well as her comedic elements (her works are HILARIOUS!) IF you want a good laugh (this is literally a 'feel good' manga) definitely go for this one

Ryouma is such an awesomely good guy! I expected this to go a totally different route than it did.
The main couple is super cute, even though I feel sort of bad for Ryouma because Izumi is so slow, but on the other hand, seeing Ryouma try again and again and put a real effort in here is so nice and refreshing, a total change from the many yaoi mangas where semes are real jerks to the ukes!
Ryouma really made it into my list of favorites semes because he's just amazing!
There's not enough semes out there who will say "no, I won't take your body just cause I can, I want your heart as well!" really.........
The only thing I could say that bugs me is that there's not enough out yet of the story! I can't wait to see them end up together, have Izumi be all in love with Ryouma finally!

Read this if you want an incredibly sweet seme, a cute otaku uke and a plot that's gonna make you smile and laugh!

To me love stage is one of those mangas you dont see often, in my opinon the plot, characters (well most), and art is unique. I love the manga and crave for new updates. both mangaka did great with it and they should get praised. o0o0 and i love the main characters they really do say "love is blind" lol

Give it up for Ryouma for trying his hardest to get Izumi to like him back, because that kid is d-e-n-s-e. But the characters are well-developed and the plot isn't bad either, a twist on the actors/showbiz concept. The art is beautiful as always.
