i like the manga and anime cuz the characters r cool and its funny.i love the shinigami action.hitsugaya-kun is mine.lol.=P
Bleach is definitely enjoyable, but I do think that it's just all action. So basically, Bleach is either a love or hate anime. The plot isn't bad, but the characters are so poorly made. I mean other than the somewhat important to very important characters have a history. Also Kibo Tite makes the characters look pretty similar. Not many things are clear, like what happens if you die in Soul Society and things like that. It's not a deep manga, but I definitely recommend this to people who aren't looking for depth, just action.
This manga is so cool! The characters are cool and the story's great!
I agree with the previous post, and got nothing particular to add. If you haven't read it, and if you are a shonen fan, then I suggest trying it!

People should read manga for fun. If they don't like this manga then they should just stop reading it. Complaints about it being used as a milking cow by the author is just plain unfair. I doubt that people around here who comment on originality and stuff can make a better manga than this one or something made by a grade schooler for that matter. I think this is a fun manga and most action loving people would like this one.
The characters are all really distinct and fun. You can't not like them.
The action is great. The story is a bit simple, but thats ok for a shonen manga!!
There are some great moments. Interesting characters ( Zaraki Kenpachi, Abarai Renji, Urahara Kisuke). The anime is very well done. I read the new chapter each week.
One thing i liked about this manga is that the story progresses fast. But lately, it has slowed down a bit... Like if the author , victim of his success, needs to slow down his original pace so that the story can last longer.
Still a pretty good shounen manga like we want them... Have fun reading it.

i held back on this manga becuse i read the reviews and some people said it wasnt good "WRONG" this manga kicked ass why are people comparing to other crap mangas and Ahoge what other shounen even compare to bleach :| ...... dont listen to peoples stupid opinions and read for your self. im sure more people like bleach than people who dislike it
Seriously it isn't original, but it's a heck of a lot better than all the others. They have some interesting characters.
