this manga is completely ridiculous and i absolutely love it. its very realistic and i love the characters and the situations they get in, and i haven't even finished it yet. A good intro for newer BL readers!
I liked the realistic portrayals of a teen's reaction to being confessed to by one of the same gender. The confusion and denial were very well done as well as the happier scenes. An instant favourite and pleasure to read again.
i think it's a great start to breaking someone in to BL xD~ starts really innocent and light <3~ the art's wonderful and so is the story~! a huge recommendation from me to anyone to read it =3~
This manga was so good, I seriously didn't want it to end. The mangaka did very well on the characters' developments. At a guess, I'd say Hiroya's thoughts and insecurities about his own impending sexuality, were probably dead on to what a teenage boy would feel. But that's only my opinion, since I'm an XX; not an XY.
The 80s/90s clothes totally crack me up. I can't believe boys wore crop tops.
Anyway, this series is much more realistic than your average yaoi (not that it's all entirely believable). It includes issues like AIDs and self-harm. But just the way the relationship is portrayed is at least plausible. I mean, there are questions raised about coming out and the effects on the family etc. The seme is a pretty decent guy even if the uke is mildly annoying. I would've liked to see more on the the two supporting characters though (although their story is told in Halfmoon Emotion). And the ending felt unresolved somehow.
I recommend it if you've got time to read a series. Dokidoki spent a year scanlating this which just goes to show this series is really worth it.

I have not finished this yet but i had the urge to let everyone know how good this manga is. I usually like newer mangas but this one does not lack in anything. it has well developed characters, even the ignorant and annoying fuu-kun, and a great plot with great comedy. a def must read

I just love Yatteranneeze!! The story it's just too good!!! the combo akizuki koh and koide mieko it's just the blast, great story with lots of realistic situations... I have readed this manga 3 times already and never get tired of it!! I'm a big fan of this two artists all BL fans SHOULD read this one!
At first it was very good, not even the drawing style bothered me, it was very interesting, really. But later it got tiring, i mean, how can a guy be in denial 6 volumes long? Maybe its possible, but this manga failed in my opinion. While i could very well follow his way of thinking and reasoning at the beginning, i later couldn't understand him anymore, i felt like he's walking in circles. Kinda lost my patience...
The volumes 3-5 were useless fillers to me (i.e. school committee discussions), they just dragged the story on.

It took forever for me to read this manga because the cover art scared me a bit, but is so not like that inside. In fact i loved the story, cannot wait to read the sequel and loved the art as well. Such a nice and romantic yaoi, just as it should be.
Yes, "Yatteraneeze!" is really cute 
I think manga is getting better while reading, so even if you didn't find it interesting at first, it could be ok for you later. It's a pity I've already read the 7th volume;)
