Tail of the Moon

This manga had an entertaining story over all. There were a few spots where the story lagged a little, and the ending was a bit quick. The artwork was great, and certainly added to the enjoyment of reading this one. I would like to have seen something more done with a couple of the secondary characters. It is definitely worth the time to read it.

this manga is soooooooooooo... good, i loved it. i didn't really liked it at first but then it kept getting more n more interesting, some part made is so intense that it left a big image, like when da war broke out n every1 was killed... that part is sooooooooooooooo... heartbreaking, it was her special day n she... thought everythin was a happy endin.. but yea... heartbreakin, very suspenseful durin that part 2, n then she totally changed... we really c how usagi grows throughout da manga.. n i really liked da love triangles n twists wink

it is very developed, not like a typical shojo manga at all! u really can't guess what'll happen next

The actual romance was SOOO slow to begin but once it did it was cute...But then BAM the story went on fast forward mode. War broke out and everyone died? Usagi became pretty and independent? OH WAIT thats a lie!!! Like what the hell was that. Dead people just popped out of nowhere, some became saints, etc for no other good reason than "tra le da le da" I have a few pages left so lets just draw something...AND Everything just ended with a pretty bow?!? UGH so basically it was cute, funny, but after the middle part it was just some plain bad story development. BUT GOOD READ IF YOU BORED!!!

I adore this Manga. although the heroine is a bit typical.
Its quirky and fun, and a laugh a minute, whilst keeping you on the edge of your feet. The art is also really good. I bought them of Bookdepository.
A great read. fans of the Genre will love it.
Though the ending is a bit of a let down...^_^
People, It's liscenced, All 15 volumes of it!
(Btw, the Twist In Vol 12 is AMAZING)
GO BUY IT!!!! It will waste Scanlators time translating it, and why should they when they could be translating some new fab manga thats not As Illegal.

the last time i heard anyone named Usagi was Sailormoon, so when i saw the heroine for this manga was named Usagi as well, i was interested. don't really liked the shinobi ninja crap but it was fun to read anyhow. the manga kept me going until i don't think i can let it go anytime soon. Usagi is very funny and interesting. i like it.

I somehow read 35+ chapters but I can't fathom reading 60 more. Way too long and drawn out for a comedy shoujo. While it is entertaining at times, it's lacking a serious main character and plot line. Definitely not a read that will make you think, nor does it feel well crafted and thought out. The female lead is only "hard working" to combat her perpetual laziness and the mild character progression is in no way profound or applicable to real life. She's dopey and child-like through and through. Additionally, many of the story's characters are flat and just shift around to however the plot was written but dont act as believable individuals.

The plot does no one justice. It's just a bunch of arcs one after another of her meeting a new person, usually a hot guy, only to prance around trying to become wifey material with them. Many adventure manga have similar arcs but in the least still have something deeper tying things together. Usagi's betrothal is the only thing standing.

Regardless, it's a matter of preference of what you want to read, so if you're looking for something fun it might be for you.

There were some good points and some bad points. I loved how hilariously it started though Usagi was your typically clumsy, no-good, crybaby heroine she was filled with some misplaced inspiration and determination. This was pretty good because she was such a comic relieft. As the story progressed, there were some unexpected twists and turns that made the plot good, but some parts were just bad and too typical of shoujo. Towards the end though, I felt that it was a bit rushed and forced.

And I really hate this part:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The manga depicted Usagi to be a stronger and tougher ninja after the destruction of Iga, but when she meets with her family the supposedly new Usagi became the old Usagi, a crybaby and always seemed so helpless, which is really weird because I thought she was an elite shinobi. I was finally excited to see a new and improved Usagi but they just had to spoil it by making her dependable on the same people that helped her before.

I'm happy that I finally read the prequel to this(never knew there was one) so now things make a bit more sense. Although I put this series on hold because I CAN'T STAND how boy crazy the main girl is, she's so superficial in my eyes. Other than that, the art is beautiful, and I shall try and finish it.
