Description
In her middle school days, Hiyori only has eyes for Mizuno, a popular guy in school. She then partners up with Sasamoto Ren, Mizuno's best friend, and both hatch a plan to bring her and Mizuno together. However, things begin to change, as Hiyori and Ren grow closer, and they find themselves falling in love... with each other. As old loves fade away and pave way for new ones, obstacles also threaten to tear them apart, especially Ren's seemingly innocent but scheming friend, Kotone, who shares a past with Ren and isn't about to let him go.

For starters, this series is GOOD and is way better than the average 'shoujo' series you would see. I recommend anyone who wants a DIFFERENT and ENJOYABLE shoujo to read this right now.
It isn't finished yet, so I won't know how everything will end, but here's what I liked so far:
-The characters: They are very realistic. You can actually sympathize with the characters, especially with the main girl Hiyori. She isn't annoying, and has depth that most shoujo girls don't really have. Direct to the point and strong, but still has flaws. VERY REALISTIC.
-The plot: The drama is done right. It never gets boring. There are some surprises that you won't see coming, which makes it even better. It's also not overly cheesy that you want to puke. I love it.
-Everything else:
In the end, this is a really deep manga that I don't think any shoujo lover should miss.

I agree that kotone is obviously a manipulative b*tch. I can't wait to see what bad sh*t is gonna happen to her for being like that. I hope she goes off in a soap opera way and get's eaten by a crocodile. JK. As for the others, Sasamoto is possibly veering into the jerk zone. I'm worried on why he's hanging out with Kotone, when she's obviously the person that ruined his relationship with Hiyori. I just hope that nothing bad happens. As for his future with Hiyori, I have a feeling he's still gonna end up with her. The ferris wheel scene is definitely foreshadowing it. Plus their breakup felt as if they were doing it in order to get things straight. Though him being with kotone all of sudden isn't right. And finally, Yuuma. He's actually a nice guy and the last scene in ch 11 must have been hard for him. But he better not be doing what I think he's doing to hiyori, or else that's gonna be some messed up shi*. Also, why did it have to be a cliff hanger. NOOOOOO!!!!!!

I'm hating that Kotone girl. She pisses me off so much! This is one of those mangas that make my heart clench. I have to say that Sasamoto is really pissing me off as well. Hope Yuuma and Hiyori get together soon.
I agree with countingwounds that this is not your usual shoujo...and I have read a ton of shoujo (who hasn't really?) but anyhow, this series just pushes my buttons. I love Hiyori also because she is uncommonly bold and real. Kotone is so utterly annoying, I cannot stand her or Sasamoto. I honestly did not really like Sasamoto from the beginning but now I think he's just stupid.
Anyhow, a must read.

WHY DIDN'T HE JUST TAKE YUUMA's ADVICE TO LEAVE KOTONE ALONE!?!?!?! WHY DOES HE CARE SO MUCH ABOUT KOTONE!?! Who cares if they have been childhood friends and neighbors, if he knew that she has been bullying Hiyori chan i bet he's going to regret like crazy that he broke up with such an amazing girl for a stupid two faced loser who has issues. Sasamoto has a very weak personality...compared to Yuuma. He can't even stand up for himself against Kotone's lonely issues. I mean after he saw all that two faced situations like the phone one with hiyori in his room, i cannot believe he kissed hiyori for their love to last forever and then break up with her. That is just plain selfish!!!!! He wants to keep both girls...he's just like kotone to me in that scene. Tsk.
Anyhow, a must read.

NJSEKLG kotone is not the only person i'm mad at! seriously sasamoto?!?! really ??? UGH. he is not only a liar (yeah, yeah, yeah, you did it because you love her, whatever!) but so.. frustrating! you know what, i'm glad they broke up! i hope yuuma goes after her! go yuuma~~~

I didn't expect it to be so good, with all the shoujo manga i've read so far, i've never seen such a mean b*tch as Kotone who's really enjoying doing her super dirty tricks.

When I started reading it I thought it would be another cute but kinda boring manga. But it´s definitely not boring. The story went in a direction that I totally didn´t expect. It´s serious and grown-up, and the characters are only about 15 years old! I really like Hiyori, she´s strong and speaks her mind. The only problem I have with this manga it´s Kotone. It´s been a while since I hated a manga character so much. Hehehe.
shes so sweet and honest. I hate how in so many shoujo the main girl doesnt tell her love interest anyhting when shes worried or something bad happens, but this girl always tells him how she is feeling or exactly what happened. i love her!

This manga is so unpredictable in so many ways and it always leaves you wanting more. The first few chapters were very sweet, but as the story progresses you learn more about the characters and there are some SERIOUS SUPRISES!! And as the comments before had stated already Kotone is such an a**!! She knows how to manipulate people and I'm especially mad at her in chapter 7 because of what she did. *wink wink* The story is definetely AAAAA--MAZING!!
It started off mostly cute and light, but it's descending into the sort of soap opera where everyone's unlikable in their own way.Kotone's a stand out selfish brat.

EDIT: Ok, now I'm good. It's so refreshing to see that Hiyori isn't as easily affected by misunderstandings caused by the other girl. I really like her way of being direct with Sasamoto. It keeps the misunderstandings short and it actually gives more life to the story. I wish that the mangaka will continue in this same vein until the end. That way, the readers don't need to get suffocated over continuous lovers' spats.

As of right now, I'm kinda thinking that Yuuma is SOOOO much better than that Sasamoto. Why doesn't he understand that frequently meeting with another girl (even if she's only a childhood friend, or maybe even more so because she's a childhood friend) makes his girlfriend uncomfortable?! He's a bloody nitwit! If he really likes Hiyori, he shouldn't let her have any doubts about him. It would have been much better to say that he did sleep with Kotone-bitch. ARGH!
