The beginning was entertaining and funny, but all the characters got annoyingly one-dimensional with no progress afterwards. Especially the girl. Grow a spine! WTF is wrong with you for being so stupid as to getting yourself stuck in situations where you get molested all the time. I stopped reading after vol. 2.

Kirara and Gin change the hair style!!!! the new hair does't suit Kirara at all and Gin hair turn into BLACK and Gin become a sectery of the powerful person (a men) arghhh!! what happend?? then a new comers (dunno who) in this manga soo pervent! but why Gin's turn his lovely silver hair too black and that new comers(a men) wants Kirara because Kirara is a Gin lovers and he want to ruin Gin but what will happend next

I hated Love Celeb. Okay I wont say hate, that sounds a bit harsh. I don't like it. Honestly, I don't like any of Mayu Shinjo's works at all. I tried some just from the few who liked it and I wanted to give it a shot. Glad I tried it so I'll know for the future to not read any of them. The men are ugly (well supposedly beautiful to everyone else...but ugh they're so not). The man have this weird look which makes you not like them even more. Then all the girls, counting this one...are so naive and whiny! They never appear strong and they're the weak heroine. Then the guys all they ever want to do is rape rape rape and the girls don't mind? WTF?! Plus the the plot/storyline is just absolutely absurd and stupid. How do they fall in love all of a sudden too? I never really enjoyed any of this and I hope you don't mind my negative feedback. Not trying to be mean honestly.

All of Mayu Shinjo's characters are horrible. The guy is terrible, and the girl is annoying. Out of the millions of supposedly beautiful girls Shin was with, he likes the most pathetic one? How and why did he even fallen in love with such a girl? I don't know why she looks so immature, and act so immature.

Not the best among Mayu shinjo's works. The story is a little stupid and the characters are quite annoying: the brainless girl falls in love with a perverted prince and gets harassed by everyone. Only the art is worth, it has really improved since the past.
I don't like the story as much as I like the drawings.
The main character is (as usual) very annoying. The story about Kirara - celebrity and Gin - prime minister seems to be just a background for smut/sex scenes.
Gin is probably the best drawn guy in Shinjo Mayu's mangas. And that's why I gave it a 4 and not 3.

What really suprised me is the appearance of Sakuya ^^
I don't really remember what made me like this story but as new scanlations of it are being published, I'm beginning to rethink my opinion on it. I'm beginning to dislike the heroine and her manager to the extreme. It amazes me how a character could be so dim witted.

Her manager was already taking advantage of her by forcing her to marry Gin's mortal enemy and yet she still continues to trust her manager. She was almost rape for goodness sake!!! The manager offered her to Gin's enemy like a piece of meat ready to be devoured. After that situation, she still continues to trust the manager. Who in their right mind would continually and blindly trust a guy who does not care if you get raped?

What can I say, it's Shinjo Mayu. This is. . .certainly one of her lesser works. I mean, I thought Kaikan Phase and Haou Airen were ok, so I bought this whole series on a whim (because the cover art looked nice).
Ugh. . .the nicety pretty much ends with the art. You gotta possess some suspension of disbelief to read this manga. The supposed "action" scenes in this series made me cringe too (when I say "action," I mean actual action, not sex).
I hope that one day, Shinjo-sensei perfects the art of drawing decent fight sequences. . .
