Description
The story takes place in an era similar to that of ancient Rome in a country called Chronos. It follows a group known as the Temple Mercenaries. In particular, the manhwa is about Ares, Michael and Baroona, three young warriors with mysterious pasts and surpassing skills...

The manhwa is notable for its subtle use of anachronistic elements (Ares' shoes are similar to that of classic Adidas), as well as very dynamic and fluid action sequences.

However it's just at such a crucial and confusing point right now that lacking updates is unforgivable sad Not a single one since June.

Worth a read though, very beautiful art portraying fluid fighting.

IS VERY NICE! (borat thumbs up)

This was quite a good manwha. The art itself was most likely intended to be drawn that way, but even so contributed to the epicness of the storyline. I can easily say this is one of my favorite series, and I hope the author quickly comes out with a sequel, or something of this caliber. Brilliant.

The unique example of good shounen manga drawn after 2000. We have a protagonist who actually KILLS his enemies, has a GIRLFRIEND and doesn't give a damn about your common sense and moral principles. And of course the antagonist whom you can actually hate(Though I like him, he's kind of an asshole you can admire). Also the art during battle scenes is great.
We have a really good manhwa. It's not as good as Shin Angyo Onshi but I still can give it

Ares is an epic Manhwa. All the main characters are fun in their own way. The plot is slow in the beginning but I enjoyed the beginning for what it is. Ares is simply nonstop entertainment. From the start I became addicted to Ares. I've already reread Ares three times and will probably once more reread Ares once fully scanlated. I love the art style in Ares, it is refreshing.

i love ares! It´s so different from other shounen-stories. Yeah, there are a lot of lacking aspects but the whole feeling when reading it is just great!

The art is not so good since it's an old manhwa, but the plot is great! There were intense scenes where nothing but raw emotions drove me to reading it until its end. This is not your typical shounen where the main character has an unfailing sense of justice. It spares no time in giving war readers such as me a fair share of justified blood bath in the name of true justice, which is vengeance. =)

this series is so great the story, drama, action, and art which gives it a gritty live feel, and the bad guy they reveal later is just someone that you really like to hate, and for good reason, with a main character who is probably manwha jesus for what he does
