manga preferences

Poll
What types of manga do you prefer?
I want a manga with perfect art, perfect story and big-breasted heroines that strip every 5 pages or hot bishounen.
As long as the story is portrayed in an ineresting way,I'm not particularly picky about the quality of the art.
I like an Interesting plot with lots of twists to keep me tuned on to the story and decent art to go with it.
The art must be of high quality and the story should contain some interesting elements, nothing too complicated.
Art should be of the utmost quality and originality while the actual story isn't the main focus.

There so many types of interesting manga but I find it overwhelmingly easy to get lost in the masses of generic art and plots and we eat it all up, because it all falls under the "fan-service" catergory. Plot elements are repeated over and over and so are the standard bishoujo/bishounen character types. Like the excessively repetitive jokes found in popular cartoons and sticoms even the once unique manga medium has lost originality, the same popular big-eyed characters are copied over and over to a point where manga characters inevitably look like emotionless clones of eachother.

The art has to be gorgeous and realistic or else I won`t read it no matter how good the story may be. Concerning the story I am not picky as long as it makes me laugh or just keep me intrested. My favorite mangas are mangas with a dark, creepy atmosphere like Elfen Lied, Mirai Nikki,...

..such as the works by Mitsukazu mihara, Kaori Yuki, Hino Matsuri, Oku Hiroya, Eiichiro Oda and Yagi-sensei...

uhh what to pick what to pick.
I like interesting art over beautiful art, b/c some of it looks a little too "mainstream" to me.
but storyline is important too eyes

i'm most picky when it comes to plot, since it gets tiring reading the same generic storylines over and over again.
but i also dont read anything with bad art, since its distracting
the best would be both interesting art and plot

most important part is an interesting premise. and characters.

its all about the journey, not the ending. bro.

The first option. Not for the perfection, I don't expect that at all. But big-breasted heroines that strip every five pages is definitely what I keep an eye out for the most. I do appreciate a good story to go along with the fanservice though.

Although I don't care about tits or bishounen and I'm not that picky about plot. The other options just didn't work cuz idk what kind of plot it is.

well, the plot/storytellling would have to be interesing to you everyone has their own prefereces,
(i.e what you might consider sloppy art someone else might see as "unique")
Its difficult to generalize individual preferences.

The third.
I like manga not to be understandable at first time. Want it to make me think it over and over again. Well, that reffers mostly to oneshots.

I picked the second option. As long as I'm amused for awhile, I'll read just about anything.

My priority is definitely interesting plot with twists as long as the art is decent. Most mangaka don't have art styles I like so I am not very picky about them. I won't waste my time on too generic stuff nowadays.

Mine would be like this:

Excellent character design + Good sense of story + Humor = MY "ideal" Manga! biggrin

I usually pick the Manga I read with something relevant or something fun to read with meaning on its story.

I pick the 4th option by the way. wink

As long as I find it the tinest bit interesting after the first chapter or two, I'll read it. I'm not that picky. Might fall behind for a bit, but it'll get read eventually.

good art always helps, but that alone doesnt always mean a good read, it needs an interesting story to go with it as well, however if the interesting story becomes a mess (Tenjou Tenge, Air Gear) then that sucks as well
