I'm back again... I read through multiple series in a single sitting so I request a lot when I do, sorry.

Anyway, I was reading "Welcome to the N.H.K" and at the part where the main character's only friend explains why he doesn't like real women I started wondering if there are any manga out there where the male lead was betrayed or intentionally hurt by a female character he was in love with or cared deeply for and it's damaged him. I also think it would be good if she's still a major part of the plot, like she regrets it afterwards, or doesn't but he still has feelings he can't let go, or the like, I don't care what demographic it's aimed for but nothing sci-fi or fantasy unless the story is almost all about the betrayal. Also, nothing where it turns out to be a misunderstanding and is quickly forgotten. Ideally I'd like something where she does this, and realizes afterwards how great a guy he was or something similar, but it's not necessary.

I don't care if it's comedy or drama mostly either, but I'd like the betrayal part of the story to be serious (nothing like Girlsaurus where it's entirely for comedic purposes)

Anything?

read it, didn't post that I read it because it didn't fit what I was looking for. Thanks anyway.

It's kind of funny when you think about it, there are manga where men intentionally hurt women, women intentionally hurt women, men hurt men, but I don't think I've ever read one where a women intentionally hurts a man, it always seems to be an accident if they do, or an unrequited love.

Honeymoon Salad - protagonist was kind of messed up by a girl in high school (and it's later revealed that she kind of knew what she was doing to him). Years later they meet again.

Thanks, just read up to where it's translated, almost didn't though. The cover art is misleading, it looks shoujo. I don't know how I feel about it though, it has mature themes but the characters themselves are less mature than most shounen characters. Also, the main protagonist isn't really messed up enough for me, I mean yeah it's left a mark but I think it would've been better if he was more broken by it, or if it was at least more addressed, so far it doesn't seem like she's even realize how he's still insecure because of it.

Thanks.

I'm still looking for more if anybody's got anything...

In what way? I mean it looks like it might be a funny read but where does the betrayal come in? (I don't mind if you spoil it slightly). I just can't tell from the description.

There's a manhwa called Full House which fits your description

a woman manipulates the male lead which cause all kinds of complications, well. . . haven't read the manhwa so I'm basing the assumption of this on the Drama that was made from it confused

so if I'm wrong someone please verify that biggrin
