Sophisticated, Intellectual Yaoi With Older Men

I'm quite fond of the really subtle, intellectual and sophisticated yaoi story that is targeted at mature adult readers, and whose characters are also mature adults. Something balanced and deep and rewarding... Like a good josei or seinen manga, except that it's yaoi. Actually it may also be a josei or seinen manga anyway!
It should be the kind of grown-up story you could recommend to a 35-year-old gay businessman, because he would be able to relate to it and wouldn't find it unrealistic. (Note: I am not actually recommending manga to a 35-year-old gay businessman, but if I were... 😛 )
Examples:
Kuma to Interi
Amato Amaro
The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese (and its sequel)
Seduce Me After the Show
Red Blinds the Foolish
What Did You Eat Yesterday?
I Won't Touch You Anyway
Dining Bar Akira
Grant My Wish (actually, almost anything by this mangaka)
Do you know any more like these? Thanks in advance!

If the 35-year-old gay businessman can handle BDSM, then I'd recommend Partners. it's the most realistic manga about BDSM gay scene I've ever read, story-and-art-wise 🤣

Most of those are ones I would suggest. 🤣
If you haven't read them already, you could try:
The End of Youth
Illumination
Endless World
Those are just the ones off the top of my head. If I can think of some more I'll edit.

Any yaoi from Yoshinaga Fumi (the characters are not needed to be old in order to be interesting)
Future lovers
Pathos
Agnus Dei - Lamb of God

Second Yoshinaga Fumi!
Have you read Nakamura Asumiko's works?
Also, Takaguchi Satosumi has a bit of this mature feeling, although mostly mixed with comedy, maybe you should try Nanahikari and Sakende Yaruze!
Koi ga Bokura o Yurusu Hani is a good option, a bit absurd at some points but great.
Arashi no Ato has some really intereting characters.
NightS?
Sangen Tonari no Tooi Hito is one of my personal favs.

HOMG NAKAMURA ASUMIKO. Pure GENIUS. Thank you queen2408! _
Odette, as usual your recs are gold, yuuri097's rec sounds amazing (never read anything like that - will have to check with the, er, hypothetical businessman if he's ok with it, altho he might not tell me if he is 🤣 ) and darcyaglow, thank you for your recs as well, esp. Future Lovers, but I'm not sure that the Sadahiro mangas will suit a mature "realist" reader since there's so much (admittedly delicious) melodrama... Open to debate on this one. 🙂
I find it amazing how Nakamura Asumiko handles some pretty goddamn extreme themes and yet doesn't make them melodramatic like Sadahiro Mika does... Well or so it seems to me, maybe only because so many of her characters are so delightfully deadpan even when crazy sh*t is happening to them or around them. Not that I don't love melodramatic smut lol! Given the # of times I've re-read Under Grand Hotel... 😀 I just wonder if it would suit someone whose tastes are more towards subtlety and literary depth.

I see Illumination has been recced. Most of the rest of Yamashita Tomoko's works fit, too. She writes very realistic stories that are both thoughtful and sexy with mature characters that look and act their age, usually between 25 and 35.
And, of course, there's Tomoi and Nemureru Mori no Binan.
