Anyone who picked Zero must be blind or something. Kaname is soooooo much hotter that you'd have to be crazy to pick Zero. Kaname was actually the only reason I watched Vampire Knight in the first place, but it did turn out to be a really good seires.

Uhuh?! If you're talking about pain, Kaname has gone through as much as Zero(if not more) and he does NOT whine about it!! I mean, what's wrong with Zero?! He's the one who's insisting that Yuki and him are enemies now.... and he's the one who's being all sad about it! He makes me SICK! Ugh!!
If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm totally for Kaname!!!

Zero all the way. Kaname's just kinda getting creepy now. I just think that Zero is cuter, plus Spoiler (highlight to view) Kaname and Yuuki are siblings....... I know that "Its ok in vampire society" but....... no..... its just knida weird.... and even if they aren't siblings they're still related. :/

I Really Loved Kaname Before and I was the biggest Kaname x Yuki Fan... But he is getting a lot creepy now.. also he's to obessed with Yuki 
So now i go with Yuki x Zero all the way

Oh my Gooooooood... I just hate love triangles... seriously... and the worst thing that makes me want to stop reading a manga/book/anything is when girl is at first with one guy and then with other... And even worse - she's with number 1, then 2 and then returns to 1... I hope this won't happen here cuz I'll bury all volumes of this manga and wish that I'd never started reading it >.>'
So I want her to choose whoever.. (even if I have someone I'd prefer...) and be with that one person! No matter who is it. T_T
Btw, I like Kaname more...lol

Wow reading through all these comments I was kind of surprised to see everyone was devoted to either Kaname or Zero. Not that I've never been devoted to an anime character ( -.-' ...), but I just found it really hard to pick between these two and I thought a lot more people would feel the same. There'd be a lot of times where I'd sway between them depending on what was happening in the story, but if I try to pick overall.. it's too hard! I'm into that whole mysterious appearance and troubled past kind of thing >< which I think both have lol, and I can see both of them with Yuuki really well...
Then again, I'm not entirely caught up yet and a lot of people are saying Kaname gets really creepy so maybe my opinion will change.

I hate the well behaved type. -3-
Even more so when theyre vampires. Meaning I have a reason to not like twilight. I have always thought that well mannered people in manga or anime are so boring. They always seem to ruin it for me. Unless they have an interesting reason for being so or change, it makes me uniterested in that character completely. Ive stopped reading the manga because seeing chapter after chapter or KANAME just bores me. I just dont like him. But Zero is a different story. He is always sorta calm but in a rebelious way. I dont know how to explain it. I just think that he has so much more CHARACTER. Same with Yuki. But now she has lost her INTERESTING PERSONALITINESS after becoming a vampire.
Summary: Kaname- HATE HIM WITH A BURNING PASSION.
Zero- BISHINESS PLUS CHARACTER. YAY <3

All you whiners wanting Zero to be with her in the end make me want to burn Zero at a stake and have Ichiru and Kaname laughing maliciously in the background. It sickens me that Zeki fans think Kaname is meaner to Yuki after all HE'S been through compared to Zero.
Zero was not a vampire until about 6, so first of all he has not lived as long as Kaname, so he could NEVER have experienced as much pain as Kaname. When you first learn about Kaname, he also lost his parents around the same age so Kaname actually can sympathize with Zero.
Zero also is a Vampire Hunter and you could say "stole Yuki from Kaname since Yuki technically offered Zero her blood mainly out of concern for his health from how I saw it. This is somewhat offensive to Kaname yet he forgives her countless times she offers Zero her blood, even though he suffers from thirst and grief due to this. He could've killed Zero numerous times, but he wanted to protect Yuki even when he would be busy taking care of other miscellaneous jobs so it was more convenient for Zero to survive.
If anyone also has read into the arcs where Kaname and Yuki are together, you do eventually see some of Kaname's past and technically I see more grief on Kaname's side than Zero's.
Not trying to sound like a Kaname, but... *slides hand across face with a sigh* I don't believe Kiryuu deserves her.... 
Note: I'm not really a fangirl for either or, but I like Kaname's personality for a choice.

My thoughts exactly. All those Zero fangirls out there can just go die.
Nah, that's too mean. They can go be quiet in a corner. Zero's just too whiny. After all, even though I like to believe that all pain is equal, living several hundreds of lifetime's worth of pain trumps a single lifetime's worth. Kaname had Yuki before Zero. That fact will never change.

Well behaved? Have you not been reading? A well behaved pure blood would never go around doing the things that Kaname's doing. Technically they're supposed to sit there and look pretty. Meh. I'll never understand why so many girls like the shoujo Sasuke. I can't empathize with him at all.

I used to like Kaname better in the beginning, but after he started acting a little possessive i kinda switched to Zero. But I think I would be happy with whoever Yuki ends up with.
