Dolls

These are not action but you could try:
Night Exile
Yami no Koe

It's a bit hard to find action-oriented josei. Why don't you look in seinen or shoujo? That'd be easier.
Use the genre search on this site.

Gokusen

Sorry I can't help more...
<= Does not read much Josei

The only other suggestion I can give you is... DON"T read Azrael’s Edge. From what I've read, there it isn't any BL undertones to it... but it's crap on a stick.

Amatsuki--action

also there is no action here but I think you should check out

Itoshi no Nina---might be reading this already, but if you are not. try it out. its a josei romance manga from like guy's perspective and its pretty good.

Avian Wander
Landreall

7 seeds
Dawn - Tsumetai Te

Chicago Despite the ending, still a really good read.

+C: Sword and Cornett

Are You Alice?
Karneval - Ignore what people say about this having shounen-ai undertones- there is nothing of the sort.
Neko Mix Genkitan Toraji
Zion
Izayakaku
Wild Com.
Ransetsuki
#000000 - Ultra Black
Tokage
Yasha
Hikari
Black Dust Portion
Sai no Kami

I definitely second Dolls , Amatsuki , +C: Sword and Cornett , Chicago and 7 Seeds.

And, yeah- Azrael’s Edge is pretty useless - I only read the 1st chapter and ditched it. It's not even remotely shounen-ai, though.

Thank very much for all the recommendations guys.
