well I'm looking for a story where the main character (preferentially male) is a goody-goody at the beginning of the manga and wants to change himself. He goes to dangerus places/people and gets influenced in the wrong direktion...kinda like this if you know what I mean. Everything is fine except: hentai, to much ecchi. It shouldn't be focused on romance either.

The only one that comes to my mind is romance focused... Yatteraneeze! (BL).

Hmm Apple kind've fits. It's a oneshot where the male lead is the son of a pastry shop owner but he wants to be a gang leader.

I think Crying Freeman fits quite well with your description, why don't you give it a try? and recently I've read Sun-Ken Rock , about a jap guy who end up as a gangster in Korea, how's that for wrong direction
