It was a Harem/Romance (ecchi too I think). The story took place in some academy and the male protagonist just transferred. Anyways, during the story the guy merges with each girl and they become some kind of super warrior or machine. Thats all i come up with so sorry if it doesnt help much. Thanks

... sounds like Mai-Otome, but given that it's not Mai-Hime that probably wasn't helpful
