Hi there,
I'd like to read something about a male lead (age 20+) who is the definition of man - not a pretty boy and not a weak pushover.
(I'd love to see hair that isn't located on the top of his head!)
I can't really come up with some examples but I think it's a pretty easy request...
Preferred genres would be seinen+comedy though I don't mind romance as a bonus.
No supernatural/fantasy, tragedy, historical and hentai please.

GTO would be the perfect example of what I'm looking for - although I'd like to see a little more mature guy - (I only watched the anime and live action, that's probably why I forgot about that one) so I'm looking for pretty much everything along those lines.

I think Ginko of Mushishi is just about the most realistic masuline man I've seen in manga, but he isn't very macho.

I read a bit of Mushishi but aside from Ginko not being enough macho (which is what I'm kinda looking for) it's also supernatural and afair there wasn't all that much comedy in that one

Sanctuary-like character?

Kachou Baka Ichidachi- well the guy is more stupid than macho...but it's pretty funny.
Kamen Teacher- I guess it's somewhat like GTO? I haven't read that much of either of them.
Kenka Shoubai- should fit.
