I agree that Inside Out and more importantly Mad Max: Fury Road (the director was 67 during the main shoot!) are quality entertainment. I would recommend any new Mad Max fans to at least watch the 2nd one too as Fury Road is a borderline remake and the black and white Blue-Ray cut with no dialog sounds amazing. The latest and highly necessary Jurassic Park sequel is a skip btw. So lame...

Game of Thrones borderline jumped the shark this season (the source material is at fault too) but i had enough discussion about that one already so i will just be happy that Hannibal is back to then finally get canceled. no but there's hope he'll dine again.

I watched Minions about two weeks ago? (I think.)

Honestly, I don't like it as much as Despicable Me. I love Gru and the girls! The Minions movie and their characters themselves did not stand out for me. It was certainly cute and funny though.

The last movie I saw was Predestination (it came out this year in my country). It was...well interesting at least. I'm still not sure whether I enjoyed it or not.

I just watched Chippie (or something like that?). It wasn't too bad, and it had a couple funny moments, but the action-explosion-robot plot isn't really my thing.

Superhero round: Ant-Man could have been an Iron Man 2 or worse with that production but it turned out to be the best Marvel Studios origin movie since their very first. It even has the same messy third act as Ironman! Hank Pym is the more interesting (anti)-hero in the comics and also the film so more of him please.

Justice League: Gods and Monsters had a very impressive crew working on it so no wonder it turned out great. The story is surprisingly continuity crazy at times for a "what if" story but i am looking forward to more web shorts and whatnot else next year.

The Death of "Superman Lives": What Happened? is a rare-ish success for Kickstarter as it is a small project but it is a shame that Nic Cage refused to participate. Hairdresser turned producer confused Jon Peters was a bit less crazy than expected and even my favorite writer Grant Morrison showed up for some reason. The documentary on George "Mad Max" Miller´s Justice League: Mortal needs to happen next.
Tranks´s Fantastic Four is supposed to be a mess and it does look bland so i may skip it. Good luck with the sequel and crossovers Fox...

I binge watched all of Steven Universe this week (the Garnet twist is a stroke of genius) and it needs to win more awards as it blows every anime this year out of the water that isn´t the GitS Arise re-cut. The best animated show on air right now would be Rick and Morty which also returned and managed to get a rare perfect IMDB score from me due to a string of episodes that work both as top of the line black comedy and forward thinking sci-fi that damands your attention at all times.
The American Toon industry is currently on fire and i have to agree with the Nostalgia Critic´s recent video that it may even be a historical peak.

None could have guess that the highly relevant Straight Outta Compton would be one of the biggest critical successes of the year as the directors originally unleashed the Friday movies upon us so the proposed sequel needs to happen.
And lastly moment of silence for Hannibal which may have been to violent (tv-14 my ass!), or complex/unpleasant or simply too gay to exist yet it was allowed to dine for 3 whole years! Mr. Fuller just did an interview for IGN in which he holds on to the hope that we will go back for second servings one day and i do too as everything and their grandma got resurrected recently. I will note though that i prefer the movie Manhunter to the final arc of S03 or the book but his again loose adaptation of book 3 (this was where i stopped reading) is way better than the source material or the trashy movie and how of then does that happen? (I am the highlighted IMDB review for Expelled from Paradise btw. wink )

The live action to Kiseijuu.

Despite all the hate on the net, I quite liked it. It was obviously going to be different from the original since it’s comprised of only two movies and I didn’t go to the cinema expecting to see a perfect copy of the manga/anime.
There were changes I liked and others I disliked, but I am glad I went to see it.
