I'm looking for manga where a normal or average boy/man is involved with a girl that has a lot of issues
be it temper problem/family issues/social issues that she drags him into and he ends up finding out that someone he thought was normal and beautiful has such a crazy life but he still excepts her.
as long as its normal..nothing fantasy or like "oh...shes keeping a secret from him because he doesn't know that she's a vampire ...WTF?!"
anyways... i just want something serious. dramatic. good of course
and like the title says nothing too cutsie or too funny

Hitsuji no Uta - though it's vampire-category, they treat it as a human disease and it's not at all supernatural-y.
Mars
If you don't mind the story revolving around children, Kodomo no Omocha. <3 (And a bit of it will be cutsie, but that doesn't detract from the realistic drama.)

Try Koi Kaze, unless that's too "abnormal" for you.

Orpheus no Mado except that he doesn't seem to be dragged into her whole family issues. But it's a gender bender manga so you know there's an issue that she's keeping from the guy and everyone else
Show Princess at least the guy knows about her dark background before he becomes famous. She seems to have this ice princess facade which can be attributed to her background
This fits really well but isn't scanlated yet I think Promise (SUETSUGU Yuki). And also, a very beautiful oneshot imo. This is actually the first manga that pops in my mind reading ur request so I'm just going to recommend it
Akuma to Love Song

Okay, so I think that Bitter Virgin is probably exactly what you're looking for. There's plenty of drama, and it's not too cutesy or funny. Quite of bit of angst and such
Kirai fits your standards, except inverted, because the guy is the one who has most of the issues. So you may not like it.
And while XBlade is a fantasy manga, the protagonist is an average, unsuspecting boy dragged into a crazy situation. And the female lead doesn't attempt to hide anything from him. So if you're willing to look past the fact that she can turn into a sword...
But definitely, if you haven't already, read Bitter Virgin. It really fits your description.
