I was just wondering do I have to read any of the other Clamp stories before I read XXXHOLiC? Hope this is in the right place.

You should probably read Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, they do influence each other in the plot, however if you don't want to read the entire thing(it's long...) reading the wikipedia article is probably fine.
