I'd choose past. 18th or 19th Century England. Mr. Darcy, here I come!

But seriously, I would love to live in 18/19th century England. It fascinates me somehow. My favourite period in history and all that...

As a woman during those centuries? O_O

Yep. Yeah, yeah, I know, they didn't have much freedom and all, but I somehow like the whole social structure of those years.

The great rich guys | The poor stupid bastards? laugh

No, more like people having manners/ideals/social structures and sticking by them.

Wouldn't that be more to the elite than to the peons
that would just be rough and dirty?

I know this will sound weird, but I'm all for people sticking to their 'places' or rather roles. So yeah, the elite had their manners and the peons had their 'code' of 'behaviour'. Everyone had their places and were (okay, maybe not) happy with that. It appeals to me. *shrug*

But we're getting off topic.

Well, just like any other time I have answered a question like this, the answer would have to be go back and time and butcher my grandpa. I've always wondered what would happen, would I no longer exist and just vanish and no one will ever know I was around in a alternate life. Or possibly would I still have my memory of what I had done and time changes to fit what life would be without me being born. I would love for the second one, because that just sounds interesting to exist, but not have a genetic background

Ah one of those "What if I was never born?" type of deals? Reminds me a lot of the movie It's a Wonderful Life. It''d be interesting to know.

Edit: The past is winning... don't be afraid of the future bigrazz

You don't need to do that.

Just make up a false diety, such as a flying spaghetti monster (Someone really did this, they call it Pastafarianism).

I would have to say the past, I mean yeah times where not so great then but they are a hell of a lot better then I imagine the future will be. Already with all the war, hate and sick people I know I would not like the future much better.

I would have to say I would want to travel between the 1600's and the early 1900's eyes

@Dr. Love: lol great idea xD. I wonder who invented that one religion were people believe that you can pretty much f*** your way to heaven. Whoever it was, was a genius lol laugh

i would also like to go to the future biggrin
u probably can, if u freeze urself, problem is if u survive smile.

Anyways i would not go back in time since all the things that have happened in the world and my personal life has formed my character and i like my current self.

Would be cool to go to year 3000 when we probably are going around in the spaceships, we probably have to since we would have killed the planet by year 2100 or so hehe laugh

Past and especially the 1800s. Europe was a mess since the Peninsula wars were happening at the time and so was part of Asia. I'd really like to see Napoleons defeat at Waterloo or the great lines of Portugal.

I'd go to the past, maybe the 90s, because I think that was an awesome century, less pollution and what not?
I'd also go and change my personality. I was (maybe still am) a brat, and I totally regret making the mistakes that I could've avoided doing.
The future does not sound so hot to me, for all I know, the world might be in a worser condition than right now.
