As I work retail and will be hearing a buttload of Christmas and holiday music between now and New Year's, I wanted to ask...

What is your favorite or your least favorite holiday song?

biggrinFavorite #1:Melekelikemaka (sp?)
Reason: it's fun to sing

coolFavorite #2: One Christmas Catalogue by Captain Sensible
Reason: only one guy does it. Chances of hearing it more than once a day=very slim

mad Least Favorite: Do They Know it's Christmas?
Reason: listen to the lyrics, listen to the song title. They're Africans. They have a different religion than Christians (for the most part). No, they don't freaking know that it's Christmas for Christmas has no meaning.

how about Josh Groban's Noel CD... biggrin I will tell you after I listened to it....

But hm.. in the mean time.... I will pick a random one =3... I hate Jingle Bells on cellphone! Whoever sets this on their cellphone... and lets it ring,.. kills my holiday spirit.

Oh gosh.. holiday songs.. Don't get me wrong, I love the holidays and holiday cheer.. but it seems like once I get one stuck in my head.. it last way longer than it should.. like, for a few months afterwards laugh

Some of those would be from this christmas cd of Alvin and the Chimpmunks that my younger nephews love laugh

"Me I want a hula hoop.." laugh

Josh Groban has a Noel CD?!? Sweet! I'm getting it sometime...

Anyways, my favorites are the 12 Days of Christmas and Jingle bells because they're catchy. As for least favorite, probably O Christmas Tree - it's just too...ugh...

I was never a big fan of holiday songs to begin with.

I like holiday songs pretty well, maybe because I don't have to hear them constantly, but two I get sick of pretty fast are Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer. dead

Favorite:
Sufjan Stevens' Songs for Christmas. The whole album.

Least:
Dunno... all of the traditional ones can be pretty annoying the 4123423423576th time in a row that you hear them but generally I don't really mind any of the ones I've heard.

Ooh, and I totally love "Silent Night" performed by choirs. Beautiful *_*
