i looked it up on veoh and they have four episodes that arent from the first one...so i guess that makes it a second one lol

Hmm, I'm not sure. I'm kind of torn between Homunculus and Kamakiri. On a lighter not, I'd add V Hunter, too

Got to go with the FLCL (Furi Kuri, also Fooly Cooly), the anime version never really read the manga one.
They did its called Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan Second and set up just like the first, each episode is two sub episodes.

I would have to say that Jungle wa Itsumo Hare Nochi Guu is the weirdest anime/manga.

No beautifully weirder a manga experience. Cannibalism, blind arabs, camel hotels, a pirate ship that becomes a whole city, insects that can take on the forms of humans, small boats with boxer-shorts as their sails...
And all drawn in a Gothic/Medieval mural style.

Not as weird as some of the stuff here but it's still kind of strange.
Synopsis:
Was originally a one-shot in Afternoon in 2004 before it became a series in 2006.
One day, a strange transfer student appears before Tsubaki. Urabe Mikoto is an antisocial girl, whose hobby is just sleeping during class-breaks. One day, Tsubaki goes to wake her up and accidentally tastes her drool... And gets hooked on that!
After that, he starts going out with her and gets to know her better. Her second hobby, as it turns out, is carrying around scissors in her panties and cutting paper into flowers...
Yah, it's pretty much about drool and romance.
