Tragic Shoujo/Josei and/or comedy shounen request (Weird, no?)

Hi!
These requests may sound really weird together, but they're for different reasons.
First of, the tragic shoujo/josei. I've just finished Confidential Confessions series and the Deep Love series...Not to mention Deep Kiss and a few others. I would really appreciate it if you would recommend me something inspired by real life (like Confidential Confessions, a social commentary), tragic, and/or something like Confidential Confessions/Deep Love in terms of prostitution/sex. So, yeah, if you didn't know already, mature themes are totally OK with me. Anthologies/oneshot collections are good too.
Now that that's done, I would also appreciate it if you would recommend a shounen comedy manga. I just caught up to Fairy Tail and I know One Piece, so something along the lines of those two? (I mean things like fighting and constantly improving self) Art can be different. School life shounen is also great; I love Yankee-kun to Megane-chan and Sket Dance. You know, those episodic nonsensical types.
Thanks in advance!

I'm big on tragic shoujo so I'm sorry I'm useless there but Psyren is a good shounen. As far as school themed go I'd say Beelzebub, School Rumble, and Ansatsu Kyoushitsu,(it's not here, but it's on manga fox) are all pretty funny.

tragic realistic shojo/josei:
A Cruel God Reigns
Suna no Shiro
Ooku
Umimachi Diary (not a tragic as the others)
Kinpatsu no Sougen
Taiyou no Ijiwaru - technically a seinen manga but it's by shojo author Souryo Fuyumi (author of Mars) and reads like a josei
shonen comedy - anything by Adachi Mitsuru, for example Rough or H2

The only tragic shoujo/josei I can think of that's inspired by real life is Koizora, and I absolutely detest it. (I even cried while watching the movie because I was so angry and frustrated at the main character.) It's pretty critically acclaimed, apparently, so you might find it more likable than I did.
Also, some tragic shoujo/josei that isn't based on real accounts:
Omae ga Sekai wo Kowashitai nara (or, actually, just try anything by Fujiwara Kaoru)
Kagen no Tsuki
Also, if you don't mind some slight shounen-ai, Tokyo Babylon is excellent, both as a tragedy and as a social commentary.
In terms of shounen comedy, I second Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, and I also recommend Matsui Yuusei's other work Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro.
Otherwise...
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun
Gin no Saji
Kekkaishi
Matantei Loki
Pokemon Special
Ueki no Housoko
Zettai Karen Children
Oh, and Komi Naoshi usually writes pretty funny shounens.

As for the first request - tragic Shoujo/Josei - I would come to think of...
- H,
- Coelacanth,
- Heaven's Door (HONGOU Ranko),
- And, maybe Mangas by SAKURADA Hina?
For the second request, spontanously I would say ...
- Beelzebub,
- BB Project,
- or Cerberus Jam? ^^
"It's like love is a bonus in your life. Even without it, I'm just fine. I don't feel like pointlessly searching for it. You don't have to make yourself unhappy." (Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji)
"Why does it rain?" - "To create drama." (Drops (Andou Yuki))
