I really love Kyouya Ootori from Ouran High School Host Club and Usui Tamaki from Kaichou Wa Maid Sama, I was wondering if anyone knew of similar characters (in personality)? Someone aloof/indifferent to the female lead at first, but develops a protective/loving quality in their relationship. Or someone overall protective and possessive (I'm not shy to mature +18 romance!)

I should also mentioned, I'll read shoujo, shounen-ai, and yaoi. The only thing I'm not superbly fond of is yuri, thanks!

umm... perhaps Shinrei Tantei Yakumo. The main dude is like that (somewhat), such a tsun, tsun :3. As well, the main dude in Grand Sun, Ghost Hunt (he is more Kyouya) and Gakuen Alice has that type of guy. As for Usui, hmm, I think you already know, but the guy from Special A is quite like him (in fact, the main heroine is also like her too XD).

And oh, there are a few more, but I can't put my finger on other ones right now. I will post if I can think of more...
