Guy Doesn't Save Girl in Time

I'm looking for manga situations where the guy rushes to save his girl and, more realistically, he doesn't make it in time. I want a complete manga, no yaoi or yuri, hentai, or ecchi. I want the guy to be emotionally torn up about it, horrified, blaming himself. I'd prefer it if she doesn't actually die, is just attacked or mugged or kidnapped, something like that. Please let me know of any complete, finished manga that have scenes like this. Thank you~

Wolf Guy - Ookami no Monshou - The girl gets kidnapped somewhere around the middle of the manga. It is a pretty violent manga though.

Lol, dude they rape the girl so hard and graphically, I don't think it's what he's looking for if he specified no ecchi and hentai.
But seriusly with Wolf guy, what the hell with the autor. Why did he had to spend so many episodes and pages and details on the rape scenes? It really was unnecesary.
